It's certified, and I only recommend it for dirt biking because the lower part of your stomach isn't protected, but it's saved me from a lot of crashes in the past.

Love it. My height is 5'8" and my weight is 185 pounds. It's not a skinny build, but it's also not a bulky one. I ordered a large and it's just right. It gives the impression of being safe. This was purchased as a dual-sport adventure. You're all set to go.
I thought these would be great for dual sport with a bulky shirt on top, but they don't fit me at all. I bought the recommended size, even though I was almost in between sizes and went with the larger. I was barely able to zip it up. I don't consider myself to be either overweight or underweight. I also noticed that no matter how hard I tried to adjust them, the shoulder pads were sitting more towards my back than on top of my shoulders, which led me to believe that in a fall with arms stretched out, they might go further back and you wouldn't be protected if you landed sideways and hit the front of your shoulder. br>Elbows are the same. They require a method of articulation. Because the elbow pads slide down the arm as you move your arms, if you hit your elbows in an unusual way, you'll get a direct hit. To provide proper protection, thicker foam at the corner, as well as a two-piece system above and below the elbow, is required.
I have an early version of this product that has saved me from AC separations, clavicle fractures, and God knows what else when I do stupid things on my bike. On a recent fall, the shock translated to three cracked ribs but saved my rotator cuff and clavicle - inestimable Now that my son is riding with me and sees me in this outfit, he wants to copy me. Last time I weighed myself, I was 5 pounds lighter. Along with a good enduro helmet, we'll be able to keep riding for a long time, and it'll be well worth the money.
There are a lot of nice features on this jacket. Under a jersey, the sleeker armor plate overlay looks great. I've only taken it for a single ride so far, but it's very comfortable. The adjustment bands are great for syncing it up on the forearm and all other places. I gained about 7 pounds during covid, so it fits tighter than expected (6'2" 184 lbs), but it was not noticeable during the ride. I don't plan on removing the back plate, but it does come with straps if you want to wear it on its own. I'm not sure why anyone would want to do that unless they had special armour for their elbows and shoulders. Excellent protection!.
I'm 5'11" tall with a 205-pound athletic frame. I had the option of getting a medium or a large. There is some room in the chest area of the extra large. It's always better to have a tight fit when it comes to safety. br>Everywhere else, it fits great, is comfortable, and adjustable. br>I used the TMS version for years and it worked well for me in the summer with my sports bike, but this one has better protection.
Because of this, and because I planned to wear it during the winter and wanted a little extra room to wear a warm mid layer underneath, I purchased a size larger than my usual size. In that configuration, I found it to be a little tight, but it was still usable and a good fit. Last but not least, this is my second fox armor (which I use for onewheeling and downhill mountain biking), and this one appears to be slightly better constructed than the first one, which I've had for at least 8 years.
A small was the perfect size for a woman's small. The arms are slightly too long, but this isn't a problem because of the stretchy, tight fabric. I'm glad this worked out because this color isn't available in women's sizes.
I'm 5'10" and 160 pounds, so I purchased an XL. I wanted something that could be worn in both the summer and the fall and winter. I'm still figuring out how to adjust the elbow pads on this thing, but it's perfect.
