The coating on the sun visor must be changed in some way by Scorpion. It's not even, and when you rinse the visor, it peels off. I even purchased a replacement sun visor, assuming that the one that came with the helmet was defective, but the replacement sun visor was just as bad as the original. That's unfortunate because I had to resort to using my sun shades.
Works. But, my goodness, it's ridiculously simple to scratch. Use a soft napkin or a microfiber towel at all costs. br>Use only warm water and soap, then air dry. When you're installing it, scratch it anyway.
It always catches glair, whether it's new or cleaned, due to the appearance of an oily film.
When I tried to clean dust off this shield with a brand new microfiber cloth, the coating became so scratched that it was no longer usable. Here's how you can fix it. That film/coating is going to peel away. I can now see through the shield again thanks to some rubbing alcohol and elbow grease.
