So far, I've been using this product for a little over a year and it has lived up to expectations and worked as well as expected. Nikwax is vastly superior to the Rain Coat by Motosolutions (think of a little Turtle Wax pouch the size of a sugar packet). A Nikwax coat is much easier to apply, does not need buffing, and keeps rain off of your car better. It is similar to rain - The price of a car is X. There is only one drawback to the product, which some other reviewers have pointed out, which is that I forget to apply it. I've had the same bottle for about 14 months and it still has a few months left and I commute every day, rain or shine. In general, I check the weather forecast at the start of the week, and if it is supposed to rain I'll spray it right away. Usually, even if I forget, there is enough residual material on my visor that it beats a visor that has not been treated.
