Is there anyone who can tell me how long this visor sticks out from the helmet?

I like mine to be between 2 1/2 and 3 inches high.

Could you please advise me if there is a flip shield that works with the visor as well?

The bell visor does not come "with" one, and I believe they do not make one either, but there are aftermarket flip visors, where the visor part is almost identical to the bell visor, except that it All three and five snap helmets, including those from Bell, will fit with these. The snaps can be adjusted to fit your helmet.

Does this fit other 3 snap helmets as well?

There is a possibility that it won't. Neither the snaps nor the buckles on the sides can be adjusted.

My mistake was that I tried to snap it onto the helmet's already attached visor when I wrote my bad review. In my ignorance, I thought that the snaps on the visor would also be in the same location. Several apologies go out to the affected parties. I think this is a great.

Bell Custom 500 is not compatible with this product

Unfortunately, this visor does not fit the latest Bell Custom 500 well. It is hard to imagine how this could happen. This leaves a kind of leaf-shaped impression in the rubber gasket around the face opening when the corners of the visor press against it Try to snap the visor on and you'll feel a spring effect. My solution was to grind enough of the corners of the visor's edges down until they just touched the gasket when snapped. This provided enough spring force that there would be no way to snap the third snap, regardless of which snap was snapped first. This means that the visor works fine now, but some pretty substantial alterations were needed, and it was certainly a pain. Bell's Custom 500 helmet is one of their top-selling models, so it is difficult to understand how a helmet visor would not fit.

problem I know about is it will not fit the Biltwell Gringo, so I assume it will not fit the Bonanza as well. This is good news since I have a Bell Custom 500 for use with it.

A great way to enhance the beater half Several helmets. The material is strong enough not to crack even when dropped and still offers Normally I use a longer (3") bill on my go-to helmet to be able to ride into a setting sun, but this is still a good helmet.
