Nonetheless, I'm not sure how well this would hold up in a real world scenario. These are the Performance Pro's It does what is described when used in natural elements. One of the most significant pro's for me is the anti Feature to fog the screen. Since I live in a mild area, it has not been tested with snow or heavy rain, but that is to be expected since we don't get those kinds of rain or snow. When light reflects and refracts in just the right way, it can catch a flash of glare inside the shield for a ton of milliseconds. Initially, I thought the headlights were coming straight at me or that I was tripping and then I became accustomed to it. It doesn't happen often, and when it does, you might not even notice it at all. It depends on whatever your eye sight is like. I must mention*br For the first few weeks, my helmet was difficult to attach due to rigid, heavy material. I was always having to stop and re-latch it because it kept unsnapping, or would get pulled off when a helmet would be carried around The helmet no longer moves, so it looks like it just had to be broken in or worn in slightly to the shape of the helmet like a shoe. The polymer material is also As it turns out, I didn't realize the extra weight of a face shield, but it must be taken into consideration since with my helmet's ear-to-ear mounting, I'll be able to close it snugly After I re-fitted the helmet to my face and put the chin straps on, the shield pulled the helmet down over my eyes and so I had to move it back In order to compensate for my weight and to ensure that I am properly balanced on my head while in motion, I adjusted all straps, inner foam, liner, and inserts on the helmet. As soon as those kinks were worked out, I was no longer experiencing any problems. It doesn't fully flip up so the flip up/down feature is a bit of a sour note (literally) - it only flips up partially. In any case, it will not be able to do that on my "vintage bubble head". Helmets in this style are made of fiberglass. I stop when the bottom of the shield is below my eye level, which is similar to looking through the thick part at the bottom of a soda pop bottle, so attempting to flip it up is not helpful in the same way that it would cost me so much money if I had tried. The overall impression is that it seems to deliver on its If I throw stones, I won't do so.
When I first looked at the fishbowl visor, I was worried about visual distortion, but it appears to be clear and crisp. The pros are I must mention*br The installation is simple and straightforward
The glass is crystal clear. The cons are I must mention*br The top of the visor should come in contact with the helmet, so a bit of air can get in there. My eyes just sort of swirl as the haze passes across them. An ounce of foam could fix any problem.
The lower right hand side of the item has a small scuff.
It was not easy to put it on without channel locks. All of the objects appear very distorted when looking through the shield!.
If you oil the snaps and use channel lock pliers, you won't have to worry about it falling off.
Those snaps on my cap were difficult to snap into place but they need to be tightened up. Once those snaps are secure and a loud snap sounds on each one, you will not have to worry about the cap falling.
Send it back as soon as possible!.
The product is good and the price is reasonable.
