Questions & Answers
Buying the next size down from what came with your helmet is the best option or two sizes, as the helmet will start to get a little looser as it gets used
Because we have the Neotech, I cannot verify that these are the ones we purchased, but looking at pictures, they seem to look the same. Making helmets more comfortable was one of their main goals.
Selected User Reviews For Shoei Cheek Pad Set Neotec Road Race Motorcycle Helmet Accessories - Size 31mm
The tight fit issue is resolved However, it is overpriced for just a piece of die cut foam with It is highly recommended that these accessories are included with an expensive helmet. As a result, I was squashed like a bug by the 35mm factory parts. Shoei you really mean that so seriously? If you charge more for helmets and include these, you will make more money Keeping customers unhappy is not a good thing.
The shoei modular 2 cannot be used with these. The ones I am unable to return now since I didn't fit them until now since I thought they would fit, so now I am out of luck.
Just received and installed them today and they fit seamlessly into the helmet. It has been two weeks since I last rode with the new cheek pads so I can't comment on fit. Although they are pricey, they do seem to be Shoei pieces, so that's kind of what this brand is like in that respect.
There are 35mm cheekpads included with the Shoei Neotec game, and they are too thick for the game- I have a super chipmunk-like face, and I'm With these 31mm wheels, ride comfort is much better, and after just a few rides, they have found their ideal fit. A snug fit, but one that is not too tightly fitted It is frustrating. They're a bit spendy at $42, and it would have been nice if Shoei offered a choice of size during the initial purchase, but you can't have everything. A new set of these will be purchased when these wear out.
The Shoei OEM face shield fits the helmet perfectly and gives my helmet a much better fit around my face. If you have an XL Shoei Neotec that is too tight, this would be a great option. I have a long experience riding with helmets that have 39mm cheek pieces, so I can tell the difference in comfort between the XL and the 35mm. Compared to OEM, there are no price advantages, but these are easier to find and much more.
The cheekpads for Shoei helmets are not cheap they were also a bit thinner than standard cheek pads. It is a genuine Shoei item that snaps right in to give you a little more comfort in the cheek area of the helmet.
exactly what it is supposed to do. It relieves the pressure and provides a sense of relief There is no way you can get Chipmunk cheeks with a $752 Shoei helmet, but your box should have these as an option. When I used "standard" pads, my typical width male face was compromised like a walnut inside.
It seemed to me that theses were going to be a replacement for my Neo-Air This helmet is made of technopolymer. I had to make my own holes since the holes don't line up. Every time they come out they're more.
