With the money you pay for it, this is one of the better headsets out there. Installation was easy into the helmet, and the sound was clear. It is possible to enjoy both music and telephone calls with great sound quality. The button must be pressed once to answer the question. I would recommend this service without hesitation.
We are now 1 year and 6 months in and there are no performance issues. The only problem is that the other riders can't sync up with my device. Sena, Cardo and so on. I don't ride to talk with them anyway, and I can simply ask Siri or Google Assistant for a call to contact the other rider on their unit, which allows phone calls without blocking the call. The best I can do is to use the least efficient method. Whenever I'm driving, I use the Bluetooth to listen to music or watch YouTube videos with surround sound if I'm parked up for a while. In any case, I have had the laptop in both hot and cold environments and it still works flawlessly.
Anyone would greatly benefit from reading this book. Multiple brands, including Sena and Cardo, have been tried by me. It was impossible for the Senas to connect to their intercom. In the Cardo, the connection was better, but in this one the connection was never lost. The impression is very good. I have a slightly different setup than the typical way to do this. Each of us rides a Polaris RZR and we each have a two-way radio. As long as I could use my headset and 2 way radio, I was satisfied. With a Baofeng radio and the PPTP bluetooth adapter and transmitter, I am able to make calls over Bluetooth. It was easy to pair them up and they never failed to maintain a connection for our entire 6 hour journey Their sound is pretty good, as far as the quality of the music is concerned. I didn't really test out the music that.
The week can be split into two We took a trip around the country. The rest of the functions did not get tested. Whenever the wire from the speaker or microphone is plugged into the electronic unit, it is vulnerable to damage. As mentioned above, the plug is on the bottom and is positioned in a manner in which it will come into contact with whatever surface your helmet is sitting on when you take it off, and might also be nudged by your jacket collar as you ride and turn In spite of propping up the helmet so that the plug would be off the ground, by the end of our 3-hour sprint, by one and a half miles the plug was gone In the middle of a week trip, both intercoms refused to connect. We were constantly fighting this problem by the end of our trip. It began as a sporadic issue, but by the end it became a constant issue. In order to hear one another talking, we would have to fiddle with the connection on and off constantly, and even when we weren't speaking, there would be constant clicking as the connection came and went. Please note
- I have updated As a courtesy, the seller contacted us and sent us 2 new wire sets and 1 new speaker set. I was able to resolve the issue by following those steps. It will be necessary to add some material to the brackets to protect the wires or we could unplug the wires from the units before resting the helmets on a surface to avoid them getting damaged again, although I am not convinced plugging them in and out often would be good. It would also be possible to use adhesive velcro mounts instead of clamp styles so that the unit could be mounted higher on the helmet, but that method doesn't seem to be as secure as clamp style mounting. It was more difficult to discern when we tested them without earplugs since wind noise is more difficult to override with full face helmets. I think this is not too bad since there is only so much you can do about In order to turn them off, you should hold the power button for a certain amount of time. Then every time you turn them on you'll have to redo the bluetooth connection since if you hold the power button for a different period of time it will wipe the memory. There are clear instructions regarding this, and you can get used to it after a while after understanding which beep sounds to listen for when you are turning them off, but still, it seems like a bit of a hassle at first. Perhaps it is just a method for minimizing the number of physical buttons on the device.
Buying a second helmet like this was a good purchase. Since its price was significantly lower than my other setup, I thought I would try out this one, since I have a different system on my other helmet. As far as installation and setup went, I had no problems. I turned it on to hear it in my house when I first turned it on. However, the sound was not that good. Having it in a full face helmet is convenient when I ride my street bike on the highway nearly every day I barely hear anything once I get up to highway speeds. The next time I go for speakers, I'll search for better ones, and since I have already put in the effort to install this system, I won't return. It would be great if I could find some replacement speakers/mics.
You can ride with a friend much more comfortably and safely, even if you're off-road The highway. When listening to music over Bluetooth, sound quality is fair at best and it is not very loud even when the volume is turned all the way up. However, I continue to use them every single time I ride! My battery has never run out, despite me not using it continuously for more than four hours. In the older version, I was worried about losing the cable as it had a specific type of mini-USB connector, but the new ones use USB-style connectors rather than the uncommon mini USB type. Both C and I have spare cables at our disposal.
