Questions & Answers

You can use your phone while wearing the gloves, but will it work?

I have a v1 of this model that has a touch-sensitive fingertip and I can use those gloves to click things on my phone as opposed to my v2 gloves.

My order for red was shipped to me in orange? I ordered red, it was sent to me in ?

Isn't it faster to contact customer service? Posting here is redundant.

Do they come from an original source?

The quality is excellent, the shoes are comfortable, and they feel safe and firm. I would think that for that price, they would be original. Rather than saying I would buy the exact same gloves again if they got lost, better said, I would buy the exact same gloves again.

What is the size chart like?

In my normal size, I wear an XL, but this item has a liner inside (which makes it very comfortable), so I wore a large.

Selected User Reviews For Alpinestars Men's SMX-1 Air v2 Motorcycle Riding Glove, Black, Small

This is the perfect glove for an entry-level user! It has a terrific finish and a very solid construction
5/5

The palm is goat skin with extra fabric reinforced areas, and the knuckle is carborn fiber, which is not only cool in appearance, but is also quite light and will protect you in the event of a fall. You might want to size up because, as others have discussed, the fit is on the small side. Because I wear a large in gloves, I ordered a large and In addition to the touch screen, there is also an infrared camera. You should definitely check it out!.

Protection of the highest quality
5/5

AlpineStar gloves run very small for me I have found that they tend to run small. A large Garden glove at Home Depot would fit me fine, whereas my Alpinestar gloves are both two x-large. It would be a good idea to go up one size or The gloves are everything you could ever want in a sporty motorcycle glove, aside from sizing issues. A gauntlet style worked well at first, but my ADV jacket works better with another style. Unless you have a race suit or jacket that has a tight cuff, you might be better off with this style without gauntlets.

The alpine stars I expected were not what I found

Within the month of June, after purchasing in April, I started using it. Within a month, I noticed that the palm area is separating from the wrist area. If separating within a month of use, how can this supposedly protect your hands from slipping?.

A decent pair of gloves
4/5

I find it very airy to start off with Despite having many air channels to the hand, they aren't meant for cold weather (I don't have the greatest circulation either, so that adds to the issue), they do provide a lot of heat to the hand. It seems to be the same with all riding gloves, I have small hands and the large fits me well, but the stitching on the inside of the glove, as well as the sides of the wrist, irritates my skin slightly. Apart from that, the gloves are very comfortable, it might take a little bit to break them in, but overall they are good.

I like this, but not as much as I would have liked
4/5

It's lightweight, comfortable, almost. It is true that these can be used with touchscreens, but as with many touchscreen gloves, they are a bit hit-and-miss It's too late. The only thing you will have to do is touch small icons carefully, or repeatedly, or curse and use the back button, but at least you won't have to take your gloves off, which is freaking awesome. I wear a size L, and these remain true to size. The mesh vents allow air to flow really well, and in general they are very comfortable to wear Despite the good design, the seams are not so good. Every time I ride with these gloves, there are marks on the first finger of each hand from the seams. It doesn't seem to bother me while I ride, but when I take off the gloves, I feel as if I've had recent cybernetic surgical implants on my fingers, but I'm still waiting for them to be implanted- Here is a list of the lasers I have for my fingers. Another minor issue is that the Velcro on the wrist closure seems to grab everything it can get its hands on. As it is, it is a secure closure, and one upside of this is that you can't lose these gloves since they stick to your jacket cuffs, your pets, and anything else that is fuzzy that comes in contact with them. It is not the kind of love I could ever express. This pair of gloves is very lightweight, has reasonable protection, and provides reasonable protection. The bikes have been with me a lot so far this season, but they somehow don't seem to be as comfortable as I'd expect. Maybe by the end of the season they'll be better.

This is the best deal around! Having worn Alpinestars Gloves for three seasons, I am happy to have my third pair
5/5

Due to the fact that both of my other pair are XXL, there wasn't any problem with sizing. It took me a couple days to get used to these gloves because they are mostly leather. After wearing them around the house for a few days, I drove with them on to and from work. I did not wet them. As a result of body heat, they were perfectly stretched. To simulate holding your grip, make a fist often and move your thumb all over depending on the The best pair of shoes I have ever owned.

The pants are comfortable, but order a size up as they will stretch a little bit
5/5

There is one thing I don't like about the gloves, which is that one of the edges always scratches my hand when I put them on. The problem is that I'm not sure what it is and I can't seem to find it on the Internet. Velcro straps have sharp edges, and I believe that's what's causing the problem. However, other than that, they are very cool for summer riding and work well!.

The first version was better but not as good as this one
3/5

Version 1 is more appealing to me. There was nothing much more to say than they looked awesome. My preference is for the first version after using it for a long time. Version 1 was much better than version 2. This item is even worse. Towards the end of the ride, the tread started coming off, the Velcro is coming off, the fingertips are starting to fray, comfort is sacrificed for protection, but it hurts when you are riding a long time. Considering that it is marketed as a brand name glove, $60 should get me a decent pair, but this one disappoints me quite a bit.
