Braces above the knees will be covered. My height is 6'3" and my weight is 200 pounds. My inseam is 34 inches. I went with the xl/xxl size.
In a nutshell, it's about your stature. Similar to jeans, the taller you are, the larger the size you should choose.

These socks are perfect for wearing with my EVS web pro knee braces. They're very comfortable with the braces, and they've held up well so far (though I've only worn them 5 times). I'm careful about how I pull the socks up and down, which I suspect will lengthen the time it takes for the socks to wear out. br>br>One thing to keep in mind if you're on the shorter side: I got the adult small despite being on the border between the youth and adult small sizes. 5'3" tall with a 30" inseam, I am a petite woman. ) and the socks are long enough to reach the bottom of my riding underwear/shorts. (The next pair of socks I purchase from EVS will most likely be youth so that I can compare the two. ) ) This isn't a real issue; I just pull them down a little and they're a little baggy above my knee. This isn't a functional issue, and it's not something I notice once I've put on my knee braces and pants.
It has a 34" inseam, which is perfect for me. The only complaint I have is that the area where the sock connects to the spandex sleeve isn't elastic and is extremely tight. I'm concerned that the stitching will come undone. Getting it around my heel is difficult.
Edit: Because it's too tight to get around the heel, the sock is starting to tear where it attaches to the sleeve.
These sock/sleeves are brand new to me. I put them on and they fit perfectly. So far, the sock is comfortable and cushioned well. The silicon grips well and the sleeves go up my skinny thighs. For the most part, I'm happy with them. I haven't ridden with them yet, but I dressed them up in my alpine stars boots and mobius knee braces to make a mockery of them. I have no idea how long they will last, but I would buy them again if the price was right.
I knew that if I rode all day in that, it would develop a serious pressure point. Instead, I returned right away and received a pair of Fly knee brace socks.
It fits well under knee braces and has no bulky seams that dig into your skin while riding. Inside a boot, your feet are nice and plush, and you'll be very comfortable. It is easy to dry.
These are a must-have for knee pads for me when I ride hard enduro. The only issue I've had is with the socks, which I tore a hole in because I pulled from the wrong area.
If you're a knee protector, it's well worth the money.
These were purchased as part of my dirt bike safety equipment. Knee pads are now secure and start right where my impact shorts end. It was a perfect match. Even with my 32" inseam, a size small was perfect for me at 5'11" and 140 lbs.
