Ideal for riding at dusk or at night. Visibility and clarity were improved as a result. Headlight glare was reduced as well. I wear a full-face helmet, and the shield fogs up occasionally, especially when it's cold outside. Wearing glasses under the shield allows me to flip it up when it fogs up while still keeping debris out of my eyes. My helmet also has a tinted, flip-down visor, which is nice but doesn't help much with late-afternoon sun glare. The fact that these were worn under the visor helped to reduce glare as well.
It's both crashworthy and stylish. Win/win. Riding advanced single track (mountain biking), I fell hard enough to break three ribs on a tree. I hit the ground and a tree with my head/helmet. My Bobsters were hit in the left earpiece by an indirect hit. They made it through the collision and shielded my vision. br>br>Aside from that, they're fantastic optics that are easy to clean and have excellent fit and finish. I think it was the best $20 I've ever spent. I'll never buy "name brand" glasses again because they're so expensive. These are incredible. Simply squirt them with Scott Sports NoFog Cleaner and you're good to go for the rest of the day.
In the nigth, there is both a small and a large amount of light.
This is fantastic. In Los Angeles, I wear them day and night, and they cut through glare and smog equally well, blocking out the sun and preventing me from squinting into it, as I expected. . . but they're also great for low-light situations. Riding in low-light conditions, such as at night or early in the morning, is recommended. This is my second pair, and if this one is stolen, I'll almost certainly return for thirds.
Good fit, great color lenses, but not a super tight foam fit, so if that's what you're looking for, these aren't the ones for you. However, they do a good job of blocking out a lot of wind; I purchased all three colors and use them separately. The sun is dark, the clouds are amber, and the night is yellow.
I really like these because they are sturdy and a good value.
Mountain biking in the woods with these glasses is a blast. The yellow adds contrast to the trail, making it easier to follow and protecting your eyes from stray branches.
On the motorcycle, those glasses are fantastic. My first pair of glasses lasted three years before my son tore the rubber seal from the bottom of the glasses. Fortunately, Amazon has a reasonable price for these.
