The camera lens distorts the image to make it appear more opaque than it is. or at least that's how I interpreted it. The lens is clear but has a slight orange tint to it. Through the lens, one can see the eyes clearly. Hopefully, this clears things up for anyone who made the same mistake I did and mistook the lens for an opaque sunglasses lens.
MTB riding improves lighting, but there isn't much of a tint to help with sun protection, and the product descriptions are utter nonsense. I'm not going to spend the money on a new lens.
These lenses were purchased for a friend who had also purchased the Oakley O- He said he had no issues with the Frame MX Goggles and was happy he bought them. When flying down the mountain, the color helps to increase contrast on the slopes, making it easier to see obstacles and people. What a fantastic purchase!.
It's a perfect fit, and it's exactly what I was looking for. I would highly recommend this product and plan to buy it again in the future.
With this color, you can see rays. The shadows can be seen while the highlights on the trail are not overexposed. It's ideal for singletrack with a wooded canopy.
This lense has a beautiful color palette. It's nearly identical to the color of my bronze safety glasses. The product was a perfect fit for my Oakley "O" style mx frames.
