On the sides of the goggles, just outside the lenses, there are small holes. There is one drawback to them -- they do not offer much ventilation if you are not standing or moving. It's not a good idea to just walk around wearing them. As soon as the sun rises, the skies will become hazy. The rest of these goggles are excellent. These sunglasses are very sturdy and have clear lenses and are tinted for added comfort. This is definitely a good company to use.

No, the clear lenses are fine. It's a bit too dark to use the smoked lenses at night, but I regularly use the clear ones at night with no problems.

During the winter, I cycle in cold weather and was hoping these would protect my eyes. It's too bad that they fog up pretty quickly, so I end up just taking them off anyhow after 5 minutes.

They fogged up real bad on a recent plane ride. I couldn't see inside the terminal or on the plane because of it. I would not recommend them as eye protectors because they will not fit over glasses, but they may work for riding activities.
