In a nutshell A brace like this will only prevent your back from moving upwards. It won't prevent you from moving downwards or laterally. As well as being uncomfortable, it makes me feel sick. This wrist guard caused me to sprain my wrist when I fell while using it.
This does not offer protection against compression impacts to the wrist, but it will serve as a good protection against rotational impacts of the wrist. I use boxer's wrist wraps to protect against compressing impacts to my wrists and these on top of that to guard So far, I have not been injured or noticed damage to my wrists while wearing this combination. The only thing stopping me was the sheer time I was a weight lifter for 36 years and a runner for the next 20 years. Although I still lift, running has been a bit of a drag lately, so I started road biking after signing up for a 50 mile charity ride for the cancer center where I work in 6 months. The increasing weight I lifted and the karate I did 25 years ago caused me to develop early arthritis in my right wrist. I would be in pain after short (3 mile) rides after getting on our new bikes with my son, age 7. As part of my training, I obtained this brace and went on longer solo rides. When I wore this brace for my first three rides of 24, 28 and 32 miles, I had no wrist pain. My first impression of it is comfort, and after I start riding I forget that I am wearing it. Thanks to this product, I don't have to flex my wrist all the way back when I ride, which prevents stress on my wrist.

Small is the best size for me because I have very small wrists and hands.

About a dozen times I have used it on my mountain bike to relieve wrist pains caused by handlebar jams. A decent level of support to prevent backwards progress Flex of the wrist does nothing to help with pounding on the front of the wrist or palm. This is helped a little by wearing a padded Giro bike glove underneath. However, I have yet to decide whether this is more effective than the stiffened brace I bought at Wally World for $16.
As well as playing baseball with this, I use it for other things. I appreciate it very much. Three pins and two screws were used to repair my wrist which was broken in its entirety. Reconstruction to its full extent. After I was operated on, my surgeon said it would take me at least one year to In a little over 5 months, I'll take a look back at There's a lot to love about TLD.
Getting back on the trails after an injury was a bit sketchy. This brace was very helpful to get me back on the trails again. There is no doubt that the value for money is excellent. It's comfortable and adjustable and it's not too heavy or cumbersome to wear, so you can wear it with gloves. Reviewers claimed this was particularly small, but I was surprised to see that the Large was as large as it comes, so I was a bit worried about that, but I don't understand it. The height of me is 6' 2" My body is stout and 1" high, and I use an XL or an XXL for most of my clothes, but this brace sized perfectly to me. That's why it should fit snugly, right? I mean, it's supposed to be tight, isn't it? In my opinion, that is what the point is. In conclusion, a great purchase that helped me get back on the trails in the local area!.
