I didn't expect it to last as long as it did
5/5

I was getting ready to go on a 3800 mile ride when I noticed this tire on my bike. Mmmm. I believe I can go on another trip with this one, but it may be time to replace it. I had assumed I had only used it for a year, but it turned out I had used it for two years and 10,000 miles. It's probably got another 3000 miles on it yet. I'm pleased with the wear, and the handling and ride are excellent. This is a smaller tire than the one recommended for my 2005 Suzuki C90. It was suggested to me by a friend as a way to lighten up the front end. I'm in ecstasy right now. This tire has lasted about 2000 miles longer than several others for less money. This week, I'm going to buy another one.

Great value for money, and it clings to the road like glue
5/5

On my Kawasaki Vulcan, I had some worn-out Bridgestone Exedra tires. I replaced them with these Shinko tires, and I'm very happy with them. Like glue, they cling to the road. I'm much more capable of leaning into turns than I was previously. I've only put about 300 miles on it so far, but it appears to be holding up well; it should get around 2k miles. 3k miles is perfectly acceptable; at this price, I can replace it more frequently than a more expensive tire. br>br>Update- In August of 2017, Since I bought these tires 14 months ago, I've driven 7200 miles on them. They're definitely worn in, but after a year and a half of riding, I'm still blown away by them. This April, I rode across Nevada in the rain (with a few snow flurries thrown in for good measure!). ) and they had a perfect grip. I'm going to get a new set of tires at the start of the next riding season because I really like these. br>br>Newsflash- April of this year: My 450-pound bike has 10,400 miles on these tires, and I weigh 220 pounds. On a regular basis, I place 100- With two 200-pound riders on the back of my bike, it's definitely time for new tires, but I'm very pleased with them so far; they're of exceptional quality! br>br>Recent changes: br>br> In June of this year, I just replaced this tire with a brand new one with 11,607 miles on it, and I'm sure I could have gotten another 500 miles out of it. It's a thousand miles away. It's impossible to praise this tire highly enough!.

The car has a classic appearance, a pleasant ride, and a fair price
5/5

Our 2012 Kawasaki VN900C looks great with this tire. The bike has a brand new feel to it, and the ride is extremely smooth. Using the c-command, I installed them myself. cinch and zip It was a breeze using the tie method; I didn't have to balance them, and they're as smooth as glass. On both tires, the date code was still valid (3-months). (Age: four months). A total of $131 was spent on both tires. 00, and my bike and wheels are in good condition. It's priceless. I'm never going to let anyone else change the tires on my bike. I've only put a few hundred miles on these so far, but I like them and intend to purchase more Shinko 230s in the future. br>br>UPDATE: br>br> We've put over 3000 miles on these Shinko tires, and I'm still impressed. The front tire appears to be brand new, while the rear tire has only minor signs of wear. They've performed admirably in both hot and cold weather, and have had no problems with wet roads, even during torrential downpours; I'm confident they'll last at least as long as the stock tires (5k), and I prefer them to the Dunlops. I will undoubtedly purchase these tires in the future.

So far, everything has gone swimmingly
5/5

This is what I put on my Kawasaki Vulcan 1600 Classic. So far, I'm impressed with how well it handles curves and turns. I've driven them for 4000 miles this summer with no problems. I really like this tire, and I'll let you know if anything goes wrong.

It's a fantastic value for money! I've had these tires for just over four months and am now ready to give them a review
5/5

I purchased both the front and rear tires to replace my worn-out bridgestones. They were incredible after I broke them in for about a hundred miles (I'm not sure if they needed that much, but I wanted to be safe)! Even now, they have about the same grip as a pair of Avon Venoms I used to have a few years ago. And for a fraction of the price! They appear to be holding up well. There is no overwear in the middle, as with dunlops. They appear to be made of a harder rubber than the avons, so they should last longer. Overall, I will purchase these again if the occasion arises. Because I live in the Phoenix area, the heat and bad pavement take a toll on tires. That's why I'm ecstatic that these are so cheap and tasty.

Great tire with excellent traction
5/5

My bike, a 2008 VTX 1800 t1, has 3000 miles on the front tire. I had a Metzler front tire that wore wide to the left, and I've had other front tires. This is by far the best tire I've ever had on my bike; after 3,000 miles, it's barely worn out. This is my work bicycle, which I use to commute to and from non-profit organizations. freeway. I'll buy the same tire when I need another front one because it's the best one for the best price.

A fantastic tire at a fantastic price! Let me begin by saying that after reading reviews, I had some reservations about the tire's quality
5/5

I swear on my life that this is the best tire I've ever owned (I have a 2002 Honda VTX1800 with pipes, carbon fiber clutch, and a Cobra Fi2000), and I ride HARD and ALL YEAR. I live in lower New York, and I RIDE TO NYC AND UPSTATE ALL THE TIME, NO MATTER WHAT THE WEATHER IS LIKE! br>That said, like I said, BEST tire I've had, and I just had some bridgestones that took like 200 miles to break in (these took like a hundred miles). The bridgestones AND metzlers I've had always get slick when I drive past a car wash, but these are way better. br>Bstones lasted 4,500 miles before going completely bald (I rode them in the spring and summer) and they're garbage in comparison to these Shintos or Shinkos (whatever you want to call them) that I adore! br> What's more, you'll be surprised to learn that br>Y'all used to love these tires when they had Yokohama on the sidewall, but now it's all nonsense!.

It's a lot like how it tracks
5/5

I had been running Metzler 888's on my Suzuki C50, and while I know they're great, I wasn't happy with how they tracked in the front. Run over a stripe in the road and it'd do that little whoops wander thing for a fraction of a second, and it felt rough in low speed tight turns. br>br>I like how Shinko's tracks are laid out. In my opinion, it is superior to the Metzler. The cost is also reasonable. I've used them on other bikes with no problems. If anything noteworthy happens, I'll make sure to update this brief review. Friends, please be careful.
