Questions & Answers

Do these tires have the same measurements as the factory Harley Dunlop tires?

Unfortunately, I do not know what came with my bike, it is a 1995. The tires are pretty good,

Which is better the commanderii reinforced or the commanderii?

Hello, thank you very much In the original form, the reinforced version has been updated. Also included in the tires of this second updated trend is the amplified density control. The result is a tighter, more rigid tire casing, which leads to better handling, and feedback for the driver. It is my pleasure to be your distributor for I hope you have a great day at Superstore.

In what way does the tire shelf life affect its performance?

The viewpoint of a business owner or shop owner. Normally, 4 or more years, depending on their storage conditions within a climate control environment and the fact that they are not exposed to direct sunlight I have been with the company for five It is generally after this period that rubber compounds begin to lose their potency and the characteristics of the tire begins to change.

Can you tell me what the tire weight and speed code is?

The H-rated version is rated at 120 mph and 350 pounds

A Michelin Front and Rear Tire was purchased in 2013 and it was great
5/5

Place the 1996 HD Road King in the trunk of the car. We are 8 years and maybe a mile down the road. A new set of wheels was necessary. traction Michelin Tires give is unbeatable on both Wet and Dry roads. Paul Newman and his team install Michelin tires in various countries around the world. In order to make sure my ride is as comfortable as possible. balanced the tires by putting balancing beads and powder in them. My passion for riding dates back to the 1970s. Nearly 200,000 miles on this 1994 Road King and I'll ride it to wherever I need to go It is highly recommended to buy Michelin tires.

On my Harley are the second set of tires
5/5

The first review I've ever written about something I bought from the site is this. There was definitely a need for one of these tires. My Harley FLHTCU 2007 is now fitted with its second set of Harken exhaust systems, and I couldn't be happier with them. It was my intention to wait until I had ridden these to the wear limit before writing this review. I have always run OEM Dunlops, and prior to these I only ever used aftermarket tires. They handle the road like nothing else in the world. On the rear tires it got less than 9000 miles, and on the front tires it got over 20,000 miles. In the rear Michelin, there is still 15000 miles of tread left, in the front there is 25000 miles of tread left. In fact, the only reason I'm changing them now is because I'm going on a 2000 mile trip and do not want to rely on tires that are two years old. In terms of the Michelin tires, I have absolutely no complaints to make. You will love how they handle and feel, and they will last forever. This book is highly recommended. The plus side is you can get them on Amazon for a lesser price than original equipment.

This is better than the OEM Dunlops I had
5/5

My new Dunlop tires are definitely worth the upgrade from the Dunlops that came with my Harley, and I got them for approximately the same price. These tires are more 'sticky' than my old Dunlop tires, so I feel more confident turning. In addition, they are a bit more round, which makes it easier to turn in and out of turns. The tires I bought are the same as the OEM Dunlops I was riding on before on my antique Harley, and I trust them just as much as the ones Harley is now using on new bikes. Harley now uses Michelin tires on their new bikes, and for good reason, of course. It is simply a better product, and your friends and neighbors will have no doubt that you have done your research and made an informed decision.

I can't think of any better way
5/5

Unlike other brands, the Commander II tire is very easy to mount on the wheel it wears evenly it runs quietly it seals very well. This is my second purchase of this model. I rarely have to add air to the mix. That's what the Positives look like

What the Negatives look like. Compared with other tires that I have run, they do not get any more mileage. I didn't see Michelin's mileage claims, but I can assume they are big. It is pretty much the same amount of miles I have gotten out of every other brand over the past 19 years, but I have gotten 110,000 miles out of It's lame to deal with Michelin tech support. In regard to being able to mount the valve stem, I called to ask why the side wall is not marked for mounting. I hate it. I have never mounted a tire without a mark in the past 30 years or more. I asked the 1st Tech about something that he had no idea It is common for 2nd tech to say that as the industry moves away from it. There is no explanation for the lack of explanation. The statement is incorrect. The tires of Dunlop, Continental, Pirelli, Avon, and others are marked with these logos. Tires on the front of Michelin's cars are marked. The tire continues to live up to expectations, and I would purchase it.

The best tires I have ever seen
5/5

I'm impressed by how good these tires look. As the date codes are current, they have not been sitting in a warehouse for a long time. They are being mounted right now, so I'll update you after I've taken them for the first ride. A brief update I are very excited about these tires, they are the best I've ever had on a bike!.

This tire is highly rated by my customers
4/5

I bought it for one of my customers and he said the other day how much he loves it. As he and his friends were out for a ride one day, some heavy rain came down, and they got stuck in the mud but he said that with his rear Michelin tire on the bike, he had never felt so comfortable in the mud I would like to say thank you Michelin for doing a great job on the commander II tire.

There is no better guide than Michelin
5/5

The Michelin tires I use on my cars are great, but I have yet to use them on my motorcycle. Have just returned from a 1,200 mile trip with these tires and they are amazing. My favorite Avon Venom and Metzler Me880 brands are Avon Venom and Metzler Me880. In addition to faithful air pressure management, I wanted a tire that had a longer lifespan because the previously mentioned tires wear out in the center far too quickly (4000 miles tops) even with hard use. They didn't let me down once while I was traveling through torrential downpours and rough alpine roads (Silverton, CO). An excellent product from a company at the top of the market with a smooth running, water-displacing, and road gripping motor. Now is the time to get these tires! The system is installed on a 2001 H-class aircraft Softail D.
