This tire is made to fit on a 3.0 inch rim. A rim with a width of 00 millimeters is available.
It was a perfect fit for my 2015 KLR. The rubber on the tire appears to be good. You get a good loud squeal when you slam on the brakes. On dry pavement, it grips like a champ. I haven't yet tested it on wet or muddy streets. I believe it will be a good tire, and when the OEM wears out, I intend to replace it with a matching front tire. It was very simple to set up. Fortunately, there was no need for any balancing.

These were purchased for general use and to replace a KLR650's tire. I've had a variety of tires over the years, and while some grip well, others may slip a little more on turns involving painted lines in the rain or similar conditions. On average, I think I'd like a good all-around tire that lasts, is reasonably priced, has a good tread design, and is capable of stopping and maneuvering. After that, I suppose you'll have to experiment with various options for your ride to see what works best for you. They're still new, but they appear to be meeting my expectations in terms of the qualities I listed. And, believe it or not, it arrived quickly thanks to Amazon's distribution network. A big thumbs up!.
The majority of my riding is done on public roads. On hard-packed trails, this tire shines. On gravel, 60 mph isn't an issue. It can't survive in a lot of mud. It struggled to get out of the 8-inch thick clay mud. Even in the rain, the grip is excellent. This tire isn't as soft as the majority of them. When it's cold outside, it takes longer to warm up. So far, I've put over 2000 miles on this tire. It's on track to be well over twice as much.
After doing great for many miles on stock klr650 tires, one of my first times on gravel, I went down like a sack of bricks. Of course, it's possible that it's just my imagination. The tires appear to be in good condition and appear to do the job; however, you should test the gravel before putting too much pressure on it.
I think I replaced it a little sooner than I should have. On my way to and from work, I use it for 98 on the highway. One year later, the OEM tire was no longer available. At least three years have passed since this tire was replaced.
It was exactly what I needed.
These tires are excellent, and I use them on the back of my Kawasaki KLR.
It's been two years and it's still in good shape. 70-mile radius (approximately 5,000 miles) 30 seconds on and 30 seconds off road. I think this is the best tire I've ever used.
Items of excellent quality.
