The inner tube made from the Protrax super thick inner tube is made up of a natural rubber and a butyl rubber blend. Because butyl rubber is excellent for shock absorption as well as being resistant to heat, aging, puncture, and weather, it's the perfect choice. In order to resist punctures and pinch flats, the rubber is twice as thick as OEM tubes. They are designed to last for years to come.

The first ride was a failure

Not impressed, I am going back to the “BikeMaster” tubes for now. The first ride went through rocks at 12psi, then was repaired, and on the next ride, a chunk of the stem was removed.

This is a very heavy duty product. The tube did not quite go in the tire there was a minor issue I think it's just my techniques. I should be able to keep it up.
