Questions & Answers

How well does this tire perform for a regular driver on the road (in all weather conditions) and off-road? Is it also on the road?

So far, I'm a big fan of the tires. They're the best snow/mud boots I've ever had, and I live in the Colorado high country. On dry pavement, they ride smoothly and quietly. I've only driven about 3000 miles on mine, so I'm not sure how they'll hold up.

Is this going to fit my 2007 Ford Ranger XLT with a 3 inch body lift kit?

It's possible that it'll be determined by the front wheel well. To keep the tire from rubbing, I had to trim the front.

For mostly on-road use, how full should I fill them? 50psi? 55? Not sure?

Mine have factory air pressure of 60 psi in the front and 80 psi in the back. They've been with me for about 2000 miles. My truck isn't one that I use on a regular basis.

What is her size, which is 33x11? 5x16?

Hello, br>The closet is 285/75/16 in size.

Installed these tires on a 2002 Dodge Ram 2500 diesel, 5 spd truck and they are as good as name brand tires at half the price
5/5

br>br>Because I live in Northern Michigan, I will soon be able to put these tires to the test in the snow. br>br>Shipping was quick, and they arrived on time. br>br>I took them down to the local Walmart, where they were mounted and balanced. Although one tire added a few ounces to the total weight, these tires are very durable. For towing, I required 10 ply. The total cost of installation, including lifetime balance and rotation, was $90 out the door. br>br>ROAD NOISEbr>The tires aren't completely silent, but they're not as loud as they should be for the tread lug depth. br>br>RIDE AND LOOKbr>They significantly improved the truck's ride quality. This is probably one of the quietest sets I've ever encountered. The taller 285 tires, as opposed to the stock 265 tires, improve the truck's overall appearance by filling the wheel wells more effectively. They're roughly the same size as a 33" mud tire. br>br>OFF ROAD PERFORMANCEbr>When I bought these tires, it had been raining nonstop for a week. I took them out on the muddiest, rutted dirt road I could find and put them to the test. The tires do an excellent job of self-cleaning and really bite when hammered on, so they're great for holeshots, full throttle starts and stops, and so on. This performance took me by surprise and made me happy. br>br>ROTATION: br>br>ROTATION: br>br>ROTATION: br>I saw a comment about rotating these tires that was negative. These are directional and have a forward tread block, which gives them an advantage when looking for traction. Tractor tires are made in the same way as car tires. You don't need to take the tires off to rotate them; simply move the rears forward and the fronts backward. The fact that non-directional tires are designed to spin in any direction is a disadvantage. As a result, some traction is lost as a result of this design. br>br>WARRANTY: br>At this time, the only real disadvantage I can see is that the tires are covered by a defect warranty rather than a road hazard warranty; it's a bit of a gamble, but for the price, these tires can be replaced twice for the price of a name brand set. br>br>OVERALLbr>br>I did a lot of research because I was short on cash at the time, and I don't think these tires can be beat for the price. They look good, ride well, and are a great value for the size. br>Only time will tell. If there are any issues, I will update the review. br>br>Update 11- 19br>br>I've used snow tires before and am pleased to report that they performed admirably. In foot-deep snow, I had to enter a farm field and return through a ditch to an old barn. I was 90% certain I would get stuck, but being a man is all about that 10% chance I wouldn't. Furthermore, the ground was soft from years of work and was covered in thick grass, causing the truck to sink even more. br>br>When it walked out, I was taken aback. There is very little, if any, wheelspin. My old tires would have buried me up to the frame, and I would have froze to death trying to dig myself out like Jack Nicholson in the shining. br>br>So far, I've put about 1000 miles on them. They still look as if I just put them on, so we'll have to see what they're made of after some more abuse.

You won't find a better tire at a better price
5/5

For apples to apples, this was the cheapest tire I could find. The cost has no bearing on the standard of the product. This is an excellent tire. For a mud tire, it is very quiet on the road. It took a lot of weight to balance it, but who cares? It was well worth the money. I tell all of my friends and family about them. The look is quite aggressive. br>UPDATE 5/20/19br>I went mudding for the first time with my truck, and these tires are fantastic. The most versatile tire, with a pleasant ride quality and the ability to rip through swamps with ease. This is the m/t tire for your daily driver if you're looking for one.

Excellent value for money and a fantastic tire! These are fantastic tires
5/5

I switched from OEM TRD OFFROAD Goodyear with Kevlar to these Roadone Cavelry MT and couldn't be more pleased. For an MT, the tires are very quiet. To be honest, I couldn't tell the difference between 5mph and 0mph stopping. The driver has good road etiquette and appears to be well-rooted. They're a little stiffer over train tracks now that they're running at 55 PSI (as one would expect from an MT). The tires shine offroad, and we did some mudding after they were installed. These tires do not compare to the stock tires in any way. Are you like me and hesitant because of the low price and unknown brand ? This company is 60% owned by Pirelli and uses their technology. Whatever the case may be, one thing is certain: at this point, I am completely satisfied. When it comes to tire life, only time will tell, and I'll keep you updated. For me, these tires were well-balanced, with no swaying (up to 70 mph). br>*** Update ***
7/24/2020br>I've now driven over 15,000 miles on these tires in a variety of conditions. These tires have outperformed my expectations both on and off the road. I maintain a tire pressure of about 30 psi on the road and 18 to 29 psi off the road. br>Once again, I highly recommend these tires, and my Tacoma's tires show very little wear (see photos). DO NOT splurge on tires just for the sake of a brand name. It is, after all, your money if you do. I used to do exactly the same thing. I did a lot of research, and these tires are made with quality and durability in mind, as evidenced by the results. As the miles (and abuse) add up, I'll keep updating this page.

Affordably priced tire of high quality
5/5

This is my first day with them on, and they are an affordable aggressive mud tire. My 2003 Chevy Silverado LT z71, which is completely stock, fit perfectly with the 285/75r16 tires. They are incredible in the snow; they walked through 3 feet of snow with no problems. For the price, I would highly recommend them because they appear to be quiet and grip even the most difficult terrain.

Update
5/5

Update: I just returned from a six-day overlanding trip through Central Oregon's rocky, steep terrain, and all I can say is that these tires are fantastic. We have a 2002 4Runner with a 3" lift and 285/75-R16 tires. They are very predictable and stable on the road for a tall sidewall tire. Off- They handled 95% without complaint on the road at full pressure they handled without complaint on the road at full They clawed their way over places I'd expect to slip. I lowered the air pressure to 20 psi for a particularly gnarly rocky climb, and these tires performed admirably once again. I was so happy with it that I decided to look into larger sizes for my rock rig. Buy them! br>br>.

Tires that have a specific direction
5/5

These are directional tires, so keep that in mind when mounting them. They give the truck an aggressive look and don't make much noise on the road.

Look fantastic, feel fantastic, and perform fantastically
5/5

So far, I'm very impressed with these tires; they look great and, as the majority of reviewers have stated, they're not at all noisy on the highway. I drove my Nissan Xterra with these tires for the first time last weekend and felt very confident that it would handle anything I threw at it. We'll see how they do in the long run, but I'm pleased with my purchase.

For the money, these are excellent tires
5/5

These were purchased for my Silverado 2500 HD pickup truck. I have to agree with everyone who has said that these mud tires are extremely quiet and smooth to ride. Oh, and they're also pretty cool looking. Get your hands on a set!.
