These bulbs simply do not last, despite the fact that they appear to be quite impressive when first used. Colors are vibrant and well-balanced. These were installed in place of my rear night driving lights. They were a perfect fit and illuminated the backlights without issue. The left light failed after a week. Okay, one light, I reasoned. After I replaced it, the right light went out two weeks later. The right light went out after I replaced it, and the left light went out a week later. Instead, I went with Sylvania's halogen bulbs. For long-term use, these are essentially useless.
I had a couple that didn't work out, but they gave me a full refund and allowed me to reorder. Other than that, it appears to be a pleasant and bright environment. br>Recent changes: So far, it's been about two months, and only three of the ten I purchased are still operational. I'm glad I got a full refund right away because these are garbage.
The halogen-style bulb is the same size as this one. It's a fantastic little bulb that shines brighter than regular halogen bulbs. There are no more amber-colored halogens, so it's a pure white! I like that it's the same size as the 194 bulb I replaced, and it appears that they're well made. It's a great price, and I like that it's not a "SUPER BRIGHT" bulb with a bunch of leds. I didn't require them to be particularly bright; in fact, I believe that many of the others do, causing them to become overworked and burn out sooner than they should. I'd much rather have a bright, pure white LED bulb that lasts and sacrifices a little brightness, which these appear to be. They're also brighter than halogen bulbs.
Another update has been made. In a Chevy Trailblazer LTZ from the year 2002. br>Likes: br>Likes: br>Likes: br>Easy to set up, bright, affordable, and a perfect fit. br>br>Not really a dislike, but it is polarity sensitive. br>If you install it and it does not light, it is polarity sensitive. Remove the plug from the socket and rotate it 180 degrees before replacing it. Many people will be saved from freaking out and being sent back as a result of this. Update. br>br> br>I've had them since I bought a 12-pack of them about 6 months ago. br>I've had one fall apart and stop working on me. br>3 have experienced a problem with flickering. br>The map light buttons on the two installed in the very front of my 2002 Trailblazer (pass and driver side) stop flickering when I press them. How ever. The third, which was mounted above the license plate, made its final flicker. I'm going to take it out to see if it's broken or simply died. br>br>Only 7 of the 12 working are left. br>br>The rest of the bulbs appear to be in good working order.
They're cheap, poorly made, and they don't work with T10. I put in a license plate light, a reverse light, and then went to put in a map light. When I realized they didn't work at the map light, I replaced the halogen bulbs, but they still don't work. I tried multiple bulbs that work in reverse and the license plate, but no luck. So not only did they not fit or work as described, but they also caused a problem with the system, which I now have to resolve! Garbage, that's what they're made of. Order Alla lighting bulbs instead of these because they work where these didn't and have in every other application I've tried them in.
Edit: 11- These appear to be fantastic. These are used to illuminate the gauges rather than the individual lights, i. e. Installed in an 01 Camry to replace standard incandescent bulbs for check engine, seatbelt, and other lights. I drive about a thousand miles per week, and incandescent bulbs can cause plastic to become brittle after prolonged exposure to heat. After an hour of driving, I put my hand on the gauges and nearly burned myself! Heat is not produced by these LEDs. Because these are polarity sensitive, it took me a few minutes to get them to work. Because my gauges only have room for five lights, the remaining seven were assigned to the shifter, doors, license plate lights, and glovebox light. These are fantastic, and I would purchase them again. EDIT: br>br> I bought these for my Camry over a year ago and drove it for about 50k miles before replacing them. Because that vehicle is currently undergoing major renovations, I purchased this set for my Crown Victoria. They haven't burned out yet, and I've had no problems with them. They don't get too hot, and the light is always the same. They were used in the climate control module, gauge cluster, overhead light, and license plate lights, among other places.
I needed the bulbs for a specific application, and they were ideal. They're bright and white, and they give my car's back end a nice glow. The old stock bulbs were too dim and yellow, and these are the brightest white bulbs available. The fact that they were the same size as my stock bulbs made installation a breeze. I like how they're made as well; it feels like a genuine bulb rather than some cheap LED from eBay. I can't wait to replace the rest of my car's bulbs with these bad boys! Hopefully, these will last a long time; I'll report back after the winter to see how they fare. Shipping was quick, and the seller was very communicative. I'm going to buy more!.
