Questions & Answers

I have a 2008 Kawasaki Ninja ZX6R, so I wonder if this would fit?

There is a description of this item describing it to fit both my 2005 ZX6R and that bike. Secondly, the item they sent me did not fit my bike, so you're just taking a chance.

Hello, my motorcycle (SV1000 S) is not listed here, so I asked what is the diameter of the stem that goes inside the motorcycle (minimum and maximum)?

Depending on how far down the stem mount can be pushed, that will determine how long the stem will be. In order to increase the grip of the mount, you need to trim the mount. The more trim you can do, the better the grip will be.

Perfect. I've been looking for this for a while. I have a 2014 Ninja 1000 ABS does this part work with it? It would be appreciated if you could give me any advice! ?

I have a 2015 Ninja 1000, but it did not fit well. A hole at the end of the stem increases in size after about 1/2 inch, so the mount cannot be locked

Is the 2014 or 2015 version of this compatible with the VFR800F?

You can use it if you have an open hole steering stem. It will take some time to install, so be sure to When installed correctly, these mounts are impossible to remove without loosing a bolt. I have used them on bikes going more than 180 mph on track and they have not let me down once.

A rotation was detected on the phone mount base
3/5

The results are not good. My 2017 R Nine T Racer is now fitted with it. It wasn't because I didn't understand the engineering behind it and neither was it because I couldn't assemble and tighten It occurs after the mount has been installed correctly and tightened to the point that the screw cannot be tightened anymore (indicating that the nut pocket washer is firm gripping the mounting stud. A stripped nut pocket washer may be causing your screw to not tighten. This is an installer error, not a hardware The mount is highly secure against upward movement and does not move at all As a result, it is unlikely to pop out of the stem hole! If the top portion of the ball is fully tightened, however, it will ALWAYS rotate. my best to pull it from the wall, but it wouldn't budge, but the top would still turn as if nothing had happened. There is no way to apply force to the system to pull the base tightly up to the top of the stem hole. Keeping the stem hole base in place requires pushing only outwards along the wall of the stem hole. I think that's a really big problem You will eventually be able to rotate your phone in any direction and interfere with gauges, controls, keys, handlebar turning lock while parking, etc. This mount rotates, so I can't rely on having a stable setup I can rely on for all my bikes. Therefore, this is not an ideal solution since I need to set up my phone location depending on the unique needs of each bike. This was a big letdown. It might help to attach a rubber washer to the top of part B (the ball mount) and the motorcycle stem hole top, but I have not tried it. Would you please! Too bad, seems like a bit more engineering would make this mount perfect. I will point out the reviewer who claims that it is a simple mistake or under-understanding of the engineering process is incorrect. When fully tightened and correctly installed, with medium pressure, the mount will still This is true.

Spend your money wisely and avoid wasting it

The bike I have is a 2019 Kawasaki zx6r 636 with a 12-inch wheel A 13mm hole is provided at the bottom of the stem. In other words, the RAM universal mount fits, but it's not tight enough to prevent your devices from rotating, i. e. the ball will spin extremely easily, just as whatever is attached to it will spin. Its better to use the Buybits 12mm Motorcycle Stem Mount, since it installs in seconds, keeps your devices secure, and doesn't allow them to spin around. This link will take you to the relevant page. ***FOR THE FALL**.

However, it doesn't work perfectly
4/5

Corrected (fix). A 20mm steering stem tube was held in by a rubber insert, but the mounting bolt/screw came loose or spun. This holds true even when the screws are Because of the smooth surface of the steering tube, there are no fins at the bottom to grab onto and hold onto. In 10 minutes of measuring, 15 minutes of designing, and one hour of 3D printing, an adapter containing the fins of the mount was made. A hex-key adapter (with a.

However, it falls way short in execution, as it doesn't work well with smaller stems
3/5

There is a kit for 12-volt batteries in the kit The holes are 33mm in diameter. My Hayabusa, which has a 12 mm stem hole, does not work well with this mounting system. Maybe it will work better on steering stems with larger holes. Despite following the instructions exactly, I was unable to tighten down this mount. As a result, the screw is spinning because there's not enough rubber to grip the inside of the stem. Furthermore, the smallest plastic nut holder does not seem to be able to penetrate the rubber well enough. As for me, I was ready to throw this whole kit in the garbage when I reached the point where I was ready to do that. As soon as I took a break, I tried again and managed to get the rubber to grip the stem and it started to tighten The stick is not very stable. It does not take a lot of effort to make it spin, but at least it is secured well enough that it cannot be pulled out. The brake/clutch reservoir mount model RAM would have been a good choice for me if I had just bought it No. 309 Ball is one inch in diameter). Compared to that mount, it is much cheaper and has much more positive It is more likely that I will replace this mount with the other.

The mount came out great! The mount came out great! It turns out that the bolt that comes with the kit is actually the same size as the two Allen head screws that are on each side of the down tube the kit is designed to fit This mount gives the ball a chance to reach over the down tube, and although the cheaper flat ball mount may be preferable for some, I like the height of this mount

There is no doubt this is a quality.

What the other reviewers are saying makes sense to me

Using a RAM X-style mounting bracket, this is what I got to mount my phone to my 2015 VFR 800 This is how the grip should be As a result, the fork stem opening is 19 mm, which corresponds to the design parameters of the Therefore, straight to the point, when testing with moderate hand strength, tightening the center allen bolt sufficiently prevents the screw from twisting takes an unreasonable amount of effort. In other words, as long as you maintain the weight of your phone and ride forces, you won't have to worry about it falling out of the My plan is to continue using this since there are not too many other options for my model motorcycle. However, I have some reservations about it. I think it would work okay in reality. As soon as my phone flies, I will update It's so funny.
