Product Description

Although the Original Progressive Rate Fork Springs soak up the small road bumps, they are rigid enough to absorb the molar-sized cracks. There are those who rattling.
It is important to choose spring rates that will reduce front-end dive under braking, but still provide excellent ride comfort at all times.
offer a lifetime warranty! Apart from being considerably less expensive than straight rate springs, Progressive Rate Fork Springs offer several advantages.
Spring with a progressive rate is more likely to resist compression by increasing its rate.
advantage of this is that the spring can be soft enough at the start of the travel to provide a plush ride, yet firm enough at the end of it to absorb the biggest

What are the rates for these in the spring?

You need to call Progressive Sports. I needed the springs so my sidecar rides more stiffly. Hope this helps. In the past, I just used the recommended size for my bike. **BG** **BG** Greg

The set of fork springs I purchased are one of the best sets I have ever owned
5/5

I found installation to be simple. I'll just say this- I did a shoddy job of fitting the jack because I used a Harbor freight atv jack and a variety Fork springs were explained in clear and easy to follow instructions, and if one desires, there are many videos on the internet that show how to replace them. For my bike (2015 Indian Scout), I used Progressive's 20W fork oil, so one quart was enough. It was obvious I had improved when I took the Scout for a test drive after I had finished. Previously, I thought the Scout was a nimble bike, but now it seems like it pivots almost in front of you. As I reached for the brakes, the bike no longer dived like a French soccer player nor did it bottom out the front suspension like before. While driving down a hill, I intentionally drove over the biggest potholes I could find (not hard, it is Spring in the upper Midwest) and I honestly didn't It took all of my strength to move the handlebars! In general, they are worth every penny and will be a great investment for you!.

A new set of victory octane springs replaced soft springs in the 2017 FITS
4/5

Using a 2 inch spacer instead of a 1 1/2 inch spacer as suggested because my octane sits too low and would reach the red zone of 10% before bottoming out. My stock spacer is 4 inches and the stock springs are.

Providing an improved ride quality for your Scout or Octane is one of the best upgrades you can make
5/5

In the headline, it is clear what's at issue. In both Indian Scout and Victory Octane, the springs are too soft to do the job and the front end dives into the wheel wells under heavy braking. When installing these with a 10-inch tablet We saw a remarkable improvement in handling and ride quality after using weight fork oil. Almost everything is a corner or a rough highway. One of the first upgrades you should make to your Victory Octane or Indian Scout is this upgrade.

Would have been better if I had done so earlier! There is something wrong with the stock fork springs on the 2016 Indian Scout
5/5

I couldn't believe how much better the bike was with progressive springs. I feel like I have a brand new bike with no pogo stick front end and bending across a curve is like As far as bottoming out the forks are concerned, the smallest bumps and irregularities no longer cause problems. Don't wait to get these if you have the crap stock springs. You will enjoy your better riding Indian Scout once you have them installed.
