No doubt this brace will add stability to your ride, but it is very prone to scratching. It is not worth the price to let the Chrome get scratched, even with the best treatment. Kuryakyn is known for its quality, but I think they are playing it too safe.

It really helps me feel more stable on dirt roads (I rode 4000 miles the week after installation and went to Valley of The Gods on my 01 Goldwing) I had hoped it might help tame the wobble at 35 mph, but all around a fantastic purchase!.

Despite its very good quality, fit, and finish, this brace is not cheap. As time goes on, I will be able to determine whether or not the brace gives me a few more miles of tire wear, as well as improves handling in A 2013 Goldwing F6B was fitted with this brace. Those in charge of installation aren't so good. Torque values or details about placement are not provided in the instructions.
