Questions & Answers

Will this work with the fox triad (specialized stumpjumper 2013)?

If the fox shock is present, then yes.

Will this work with my fox float dpx2 factory 2019?

Yes, this should be done. I used to have a fox rp2 and only used nine of the thirteen rings.

Is this kit compatible with the fox vanilla rx shock?

Not sure

Is this also applicable to the float RP2?

Yes, I used this to complete my Fox RP2. There were quite a few extra o- rings.

All fox shocks are not suitable
3/5

Buying for Fox Float R is not a good idea. This is NOT for all fox float shocks, and arrived quickly and in good condition. For my Fox Float R, I was missing a critical component. the obscenely large o down on the side near the rebound adjustment knob, a ring that seals where the main air chamber screws back on. In the photo of them all piled on top of each other, it's the fatter, larger one that's third from the bottom, on the right. Grrrr. It did have a few thin o-rings in it. br>br> However, there were rings that had nothing to do with my shock, and one of them appeared to be the right size but was far too thin. br>br>All right, let's get started. All of the other seals were fine and fit perfectly, but one was missing: the o-ring. It's bad form to call and say this applies to ALL rear fox float shocks. For the rest of it, I'll give it a two-star rating. Obviously, I will not be purchasing this item again. To be accurate, the seller must update their description.

The thickest O-ring is missing from the kit
3/5

For certain Fox Float R Shock models, the ring shown in the vendor's image is required. The thickest O-ring in Kit is missing. ring that appears in the vendor's photo It's required for the Fox High Volume Float R rear shock, which has a body cap that screws inside (male threads) rather than over the body (female threads), as opposed to other models that have a body cap that screws over the body. I discovered that the same issue has been raised in at least one other review. As a result, I'm guessing that all of the kits are missing the subject O-. The problem will not be solved by returning the ring and receiving a replacement. On YouTube, I saw a video by Fox in which the product manager stated that this kit by SKU will service every Float-It Float-it Float-it Float-it Float-it Float-it Float-it Flo R is the most shocking thing they've ever done. In addition, the presence of the O- That would be a true statement if you wore a ring. As a result, I'm curious if this vendor offers a non-alcoholic beverage. The subject O- is missing from a Fox third-party kit. ring. If the vendor responds and resolves my issue, as well as correcting the kit for future buyers, I will update my review.

My RP2 will love it
5/5

It was perfect for my RP2. I was able to locate the appropriate FOX channel YouTube video. It doesn't get any easier than this. It's something I'd buy again if the opportunity presented itself.

It's Difficult, But It Works
5/5

On my Specialized, I used this kit to completely rebuild the Fox Floating shock. My shock was constantly collapsing prior to the rebuild. There were a couple of O-types in the crowd. I didn't have to replace those specific rings because they were missing. Because this was my first time rebuilding one of these, the process took a couple of hours. Because I'm a mechanic, I already had all of the necessary tools. If you don't have any experience with tools or maintenance, I recommend hiring someone who does or overseeing your work. It gets old after a while. You'll need to air the shock up to 300 psi after it's been rebuilt. Because my air compressor only goes up to 150 psi, I had to finish inflating it with a manual air pump. It's been working fine for a few weeks now, but I keep a spare rear shock spring on hand in case this one fails. I'm not going to rebuild this thing for at least a couple of years, or I'm going to throw it away.

O rings on FLOAT R are missing
3/5

Because the seller claims that it is for the fox racing R float or "fits every fox racing shox," I'm giving it a three-star rating. That is something I greatly value. However, if you have an older model fox float, such as the one shown in the photo, you will have a problem. Except for two O rings, this kit contains everything you'll need. One main ring is visible once the air can is unscrewed, and one small ring is located on the inner shaft. This is something I'd like for people to be aware of. I was fortunate in that I didn't require the two that were missing and not included in the kit. Fortunately, aside from that, it's out with the old and in with the new, and the shox have performed admirably thus far!.

By replacing the gaskets in the Fox Nude CTD, I was able to save money
5/5

On a 2014 Scott Spark 930, I used this kit to clean the air can on a Fox Nude CTD rear shock. I've heard you shouldn't do it yourself, but there's no reason why you can't - Otherwise, you'll have to return it to Fox for a fee. This kit came with all of the gaskets, seals, and oil I required, and the air can is now fully functional.

This is an excellent kit for rebuilding the rear suspension
5/5

Apart from instructions, this kit includes everything you'll need to reassemble your rear shock. This is due to the fact that this kit will be used to reassemble a variety of shocks, each of which is constructed differently. The internet is a great place to look for instructions. I rebuilt a Fox float RP2 and it worked perfectly. It now holds air and runs smoother than new.

An extra o-ring is included in the Fox float rc
4/5

This kit does not include a ring. I used this to replace a large top o ring on an old Fox float rc that was missing. This didn't matter because once I got it back together, the valve was leaking nitrogen and oil, and the shock was toast. br>br>For what it's worth, installing this kit is incredibly simple, and YouTube has some excellent instructional videos. Check to see if the valve is still in good working order before investing time and money.
