In order for the customer to be able to order the correct part, more measurements need to be provided in the description. We took a chance and received the wrong size part. It would have been more expensive to ship back than we had paid for it so we threw it out.
I like how it works. I am impressed with the quality of the rubber mounts. During the installation of a new motor for my air handler, I used this system. In spite of the position of the bolt holes on my blower housing being outward, the rubber was able to bend enough to prevent the bolts from slipping. There was one thing I should have done, namely filing down the rough edges where the flange meets the clamp. There was a couple of times when I had to readjust motor in brackets and it scratched up As long as I never find myself using this bracket again, it does not matter to me, but I do like neat installations.
The replacement part fits perfectly and is of It is 100% better than the piece of junk I bought from a local heating vendor for double the price! Than one that failed within 3 Despite a year's worth of use, it is still going strong.
I was able to fit a fan cage on the furnace without any issues when I bought the motor.
I brought my motor with me, but it won't fit.
I had to make some minor modifications, but it worked well.
