You're right, they're supposed to Two spacers need to be placed on each shock so that they will work. Soak the spacers in liquid soap and water before putting them on. You will be able to better slip around the coils with it.
It is the depth of the coil that defines the channel. I use two zip ties to keep it in place.
It is true. This is what they should look like.

Plows drop the front down an average of 4 to 5 inches when in place. The plow is a standard 4 foot model. Well, I bought these, and they come in a pack of two. A frontal drop of 1 inch is common with the plow going up. Would have been wise to buy these sooner rather than later. There are zip ties on these. Obviously, there is a little slippage, but that is why zip ties were included.
I measured the running height of a 2019 Polaris 570 sportsman and it was 33 inches from the ground to the bottom of the front fender at center of the Having my 180-pound son sit in front of the atv caused it to drop to 30 inches without The new measurement was 32 inches after installing spacers and having him sit on it again. There is only a 1" loss in width The achievement is quite.
As a result, they were mounted on my sportsman 570 for the winter to prevent the front end from dropping off When I used the plow with the quad, I tried it both with and without them. As far as I can tell, the front end is still sagging the same way. It may be a bit easier if they are on a My plow is still getting good use out of them and I'll keep adding them to the struts. Hopefully they will keep them in better shape I suggest that you install them in the center and then secure them in place with 2 to 8.
The sportsman 500 we used for plowing was an 04 model. At least two sets should be purchased. Testing them at different places on the spring, I found that placing them at the top and bottom were most effective. This A 5' plow with an all steel frame has an extra 5" of sag. I wanted something that I could easily put in and take out, but not quite as much as I would have liked. Rubber samples will be evaluated over time to determine how long they will last before dry rotting occurs.
I did not find it worth the money. These are a waste of money. The springs do not fit in the center of the spring as advertised (and in the instructions). They have to be slid to the top or bottom of the spring and secured using I could not use my Sportsman's plow with them as they did not help the front end squat. I bought it then, which was the reason I purchased it. In case you intend to add any weight to the machine, you are better off investing in a set of Heavy duty springs.
My suspension issue was not resolved with these, but I did fit them to the springs. There was nothing wrong with the product, just not the solution to my issue, so can't fault the product as a whole. For a new Polaris ATV, I need more parts than these to solve the suspension issue.
It is much easier to pull the struts on a bench than on the ground. As advertised, the company appears to be performing its duties.
When I installed them on a Polaris 450HO, I only gained 1/2" with my If you cannot afford HD springs, then you should consider buying them.
