Spring is still my favorite season after 6 months. They are, however, significantly stiffer than the factory versions. They haven't settled down from their initial 3" gain, which is fine, but the rear end has a habit of landing hard when going over speed bumps or, God forbid, off a curb or rock. With that said, they are still fantastic springs, and when I'm towing, there isn't an excessive amount of rear drop, which I prefer, and it softens up under load. I guess I'll have to get a rear bumper as well. br>br>Installation is a breeze. I'm not a pro by any means, but I did it all by myself in my garage on a jack stand in just over an hour. I didn't need the instructions because they weren't included. Before starting the installation, I watched a couple of videos and decided to go for it. I would buy this product again and again. I gained 3" in the rear, but I'm sure it will settle down after a few weeks of driving.
These Freedoms were purchased at a garage sale. As they are about half the price of the old man emu, I decided I wanted to try them out with my Belstein 5100 in about 6,000 miles. Although I didn't enjoy the shoes quite as much as I usually would, I didn't give up after a few Maybe they're heavily coated for the price, so they don't appear to rust, but I'd steer you away from them because of the height loss and the ride.
