In addition, I'd like to point out some of the good features and some of the things they could improve upon. Polaris rzr 900s
- I bought it for my 2017 Polaris rzr 900s. liked how easily it was to put it together, it's just a matter of screwing off the plates and installing (you might have to take off the roof or windshield to do this). - The fact that it is so easy to clean is also appealing to me. That usually works for me when I use dish soap and water. There isn't much tendency for it to scratch.
There are some things they can improve --
Once everything is installed and tightened, I dislike how hard it is to adjust the angle and pitch. For that reason, I was a little concerned about it having two different mounts. I was right to be concerned. It might be possible that if they went to a single center mount that would fix the issue
Other than that, it's powerful and well-built. It would be great if you liked my review or clicked found it helpful so I can continue to do them. Thanks so much!.
The mirror is fantastic. I'm very happy with it. My installation took over an hour. I mounted the mount horizontally, pointing backwards, on a 2019 RZR S4 1000 with a Ferreus Industries roof and it fit perfectly. Despite being nice and tight up to the roof, it doesn't block any of my views. Positioned above the driver's seat, I positioned myself right above the wheel. The picture of how the picture would appear does not match the actual position of the panel, but after getting it installed, it's perfect. The following installation tip can be helpful The screws were long enough, just start the first screw by 2 or 3 turns, and then the second one. Leaving the gap in the first screw unclosed before the second shouldn't cause problems.
Earlier I cracked one by hitting it with a power washer and the screws came loose. This one looks a lot better and is the second one I've made. Buying the second one and loctiting my screws was a great idea. As long as you don't blast it with a power washer, it won't ruin anything. It's a mirror after all. The cost of this is only $12, so it makes no sense to spend a lot more than that.
It is stated in the product description that this item will Despite the fact that mounting brackets made of aluminum are top-notch and the installation was simple, it was not straight forward. The brackets were a bit too small and did not cover the top tube of the roll cage completely. My solution was to bend both sides of the brackets a little wider so that the roll cage bar would fit. While this wasn't a major problem, the company only included one length of screws that were slightly too small to secure both the top and bottom of the bracket. After the slight modification, this was no longer usable as it came it was difficult to use. By being patient and taking my time, I was able to get the screws to bite into the threads securely. We would have given it 5 stars if the screw had been a bit longer. One would assume that longer screws would be included for devices that can fit a wide variety of machines.
Here's the mirror and the Arctic Cat HDX500 that I installed. I think this mirror fits the roll cage pipe diameter just fine. It is quite a bargain.
My RZR 900 S is now equipped with a mirror. My first thought was that the clamps were too small, but they fit perfect. There is a little confusion if you have a roof. The screw, the clamp, and the mirror are hard to hold. I was able to put it in pretty quickly after the first screw was in. This is an exceptionally well made product for the money.
I highly recommend this product and find it extremely easy to install. My 2017 RZR 900 S was delivered on time, and I was able to install it without any difficulty as it arrived on time. The brackets were easy to put in place, which saved me a lot of time dismantling my RZR. In total, the installation took less than five minutes, it was simple to adjust, and it works well. My spare tire is mounted on a rack a little higher up on the RZR, so the mirror makes it very easy to see around it. It is held in place by Allen screws that are made of aluminum of excellent quality. My buddies will be getting this for their UTVs after I recommend it to them.
Having purchased these in the past, I just purchased another one. These are what I use on my Kawasaki Mule. I have a new mirror every time I get a Mule. I like how easy it is to install and how good the quality is. That's one of the best books I've ever read.
