People complain that the bulbs don't last more than two years, which I find amusing. Do you have light bulbs that last for more than two years in your home? If that's the case, then congratulations! That is incredible. Please direct me to a retailer where I can purchase these items: (It's clear that I'm being sarcastic.) Why would you think a product is junk because it lasts 2 years (give or take) using direct current if a house bulb doesn't last that long with alternating current? Whatever the case may be, a light bulb is a light bulb. They'll need to be replaced at some point in the future. Every two years, it costs just $27. When it comes to staying safe and alive, I believe in the following principles. That, in my opinion, is far from fair.
The H7 bulb is used for low beams. High beams are designated by the number 9005.

I haven't been able to find fog light bulbs that are exactly the same color. My calculation is a little off. My headlights are blue, and my fog lights are white but bright. They are appealing to me.

This product is only intended for use in Japan. What's going on here is a mystery to me. These bulbs arrived after I purchased h7 bulbs for my Mercedes. br>br>On the back of the packaging, it says not for use on public roads outside of Japan, and on the bottom of the bulb fixture, it says not for use in Europe/US, while the Amazon description says DOT compliant, which is a US department. br>br>Phillips, what's your deal?.
It's called crystal vision, but despite being bright and white, it's not much brighter than factory bulbs, which are still yellow and not white.
Every 6 months or less, the 2010 Subaru Outback ate up Sylvania headlights. On my Subaru, changing the headlights is a pain. I drive at night five to seven nights a week, so I rely heavily on my headlights. I tried both the top and bottom levels of Sylvania headlights, and they both died quickly. The Philips H7 X-ray projector is a high-definition projector that uses tremeblahblah are comparable to Sylvania's second-tier headlights in terms of brightness and clarity. To compare, I switched out one headlight at a time. I'm hoping the Philips light will last a long time, and I'll keep you updated on my findings. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> My passenger's headlight was on fire. After ten months of use, it's time to replace it. I haven't found a bulb that has lasted as long as this one. Maybe I'll try a different brand, or maybe I'll go with led. Changing the headlights on my car is such a pain.
These were purchased to replace a burned out headlight bulb in my 2012 Subaru Legacy, and they work perfectly! Because you have to get to the bulb through the wheel well and a small hole, the Legacy installation process is insane and takes a long time. Because it was the passenger side low beam bulb that had failed, I went ahead and replaced both bulbs in under 45 minutes. When compared to the OEM bulbs, the new bulbs have a noticeably whiter color, but they're only slightly brighter. Hopefully, these will last as long as the OEM ones did, which should be around 75k miles.
REVIEW HAS BEEN ADDITIONALLY UPDATED THESE WERE GREAT AT FIRST, BUT THEY HAVE NOW BURNED OUT AFTER 6 MONTHS. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS PRODUCT; IT IS DEFINITELY NOT OF THE PHILLIPS QUALITY I AM USED TO. Very bright and a good deal compared to the local auto parts store. I'll buy it again.
Because of the negative reviews, I was hesitant to buy these for my 2006 Subaru Impreza, but I gave them a try anyway. They certainly appear to be whiter and brighter than the OEM ones. I figured these would suffice in the absence of the LED lights I intend to purchase later. Please keep in mind that these are only $20 if you leave a negative review. Don't expect these to light up a forest or be on par with LEDs; they aren't, but they are a good, inexpensive replacement for them if you want a whiter light in your headlights, and they are certainly less expensive and better than the crappy overpriced ones sold at Autozone or O'Reileys. I would purchase this item again.
" This was a complete disaster. Both Philips and Amazon assured me that these bulbs would fit in my Toyota Tundra from the year 2003. They don't fit, and I have to pay $6 for them. Return shipping will cost you 52 dollars. If you're looking for a good deal, keep in mind that caveat empt.
The longevity of these bulbs appears to be a common complaint. I bought these in November of 2018, and it's now May of 2020. That's not a bad thing, but consider the following: br>br>On a weekly basis, I drive in the dark about twice. So, let's say I drive in the dark eight times a month. br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>2 of those I drive for about 45 minutes one way br>The rest of the time, I go to the grocery store and pick up what I need. order, date night, and so on. It was just regular nighttime stuff that took about 20 minutes to complete. br>br>I've had these for around 18 months in total. That's not bad, but I don't think I used it for more than a month. I'm in the market for new headlights right now, but I'm not sure I'll buy these. Again. These aren't bad, but a lot of people are complaining about how long they last, and my own personal experience adds to the mix.
