If you're using standard bulbs, your Low beam will be H11-. Your Low beam would be a 55W bulb, and your High beam would be a 9005 bulb. If you have HID turned on, however, It'd be HID-up then. D3S bulb
The color temperature is 3400 degrees Kelvin. Whiter, but not bluish, than standard OEM bulbs. The point is that the "whiter" bulbs waste a lot of energy. br>br>Back in February, I bought a pair of these. They've been going strong since 2017 and will continue to do so. for an eight-month period I purchased a pair of these bulbs to replace the low-power bulbs after conducting extensive research. My 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee has a lot of beams. I was ecstatic with my purchase because I loved the light these bulbs produced. On my honeymoon, I drove 4,000 miles through the Canadian Rockies, and these bulbs were my guide. It's been 8 months since I bought the car, and one of the low beams has gone out. So my original bulbs lasted 5 years, while the replacement bulbs lasted only 8 months. I don't mind changing these bulbs every few years, but it's a pain in the neck in my Grand Cherokee, and anything less than a year is unacceptable. It's time to go back to the drawing board in search of a long-lasting white bulb. Follow up with: br>br> Philips' "Customer Service" just hung up on me. What a slap in the face. I accidentally called Sylvania, who said that all of their bulbs are covered by a one-year warranty and that they would be happy to take my information for a replacement. Then I realized I needed to call Philips, so I did, and they were completely uninterested in assisting me. They claimed that their product "doesn't have warranties" and advised me to contact Amazon to see if I could get a refund. Is this for real? I'm never going to buy another Philips product.
In my wife's 2011 Highlander Hybrid Limited, I replaced the OEM main headlight bulbs with H11 XtremeVision bulbs. I'm not sure if it's because these were H11s (only one way around), but they didn't require any alignment adjustments. The light is much brighter, and it illuminates the road further down the road without dazzling oncoming traffic. The light is whiter than the original bulb, and there is no blue tinge. br>br>A photo of an old bulb next to one of these is attached. I'm confident you'll be able to figure out who's who: )br>br>I hope this is of assistance,br>br>best wishes, Mike.
These are 60% brighter but still within legal limits and will be within legal limits and will be within legal limits and will be within legal limits and will be% They're brighter/whiter in color than the original (new bulb on left), as shown in the attached photo. Since each auto has different optics the end result can be different, for the record these were installed in a 2011 Volvo XC60. Since each auto has different optics the end Overall, I'm pleased with the outcome and will continue to monitor it. If they need to be replaced, they should be brought up. Note: If you have the same model vehicle and want to go with LED, the bulb is hidden behind a cover on the back of the headlight assembly and requires only a small amount of clearance. So, without modifying the cover and risking a bad seal, trying to fit a longer bulb would be impossible.
In February of this year, These bulbs have a two-year warranty when used for up to three hours per day, according to the warranty. On my long commute, I use them for about two hours most days, so I figured I'd test the warranty. It turns out to be quite good. Following an email to Philips, they requested some information (receipt, several photos, and so on), which I sent several days later. br>br>Six weeks later, just as I was about to send them another email, I received a FEDEX package with a two-day delivery confirmation. a replacement bulb pack; Maintaining a customer is a good idea. I'm going to raise my rating from 4 to 5 because of the excellent customer service. from one to five stars star. Maybe my failed bulb was just an infant failure, because the other original bulb is still working fine. Original Review: br>br>Original Review: br>br>Original Review: br>br>O On the one hand, these are excellent at lighting up the road. I live in a rural area with no street lights, and the light from these bulbs is crisp and white, far superior to the OEM lights that came standard on my Mazda3. br>br>On the other hand, one bulb has burned out after less than 300 hours of use after only one year, which I consider to be a poor lifetime. The second bulb continues to function normally, but it is not a good performer for a "long life" bulb. br>br>I'm going to have to re-write it. I'm going to order these bulbs this time, but if they continue to have short life spans, I'll switch to something else.
I haven't even put the lamps in yet, but here's a picture of the back of the Philips H11 Standard Halogen Replacement Headlight Bulb, 2 Pack package. The Light Color is "up to" about 3200K, and the Average Lifetime is "up to" about 800 hours, according to the Philips package. br>br>The light output in lumens is not listed on the Philips package. 240 lumens was listed on a Sylvania standard H11 bulb package that I saw in a store.
On a 2015 Chrysler Town and Country, the installation was simple. Country. The original bulbs, while still functional, seemed a little yellow after 18 months, so I went shopping for a cheap replacement. This X- tremeVision seemed to fit the bill, as it wasn't blue and had a - rating. despite the fact that it was manufactured by the manufacturer - It's brighter and has a longer reach, which is exactly what I was looking for. They're also 3400 degrees, which is a smidge whiter than stock, in my opinion. When I removed the stock bulbs, I discovered that they are Phillips; the original bulbs' connecter type/model only said 'H11,' but the new bulbs said 'H11 C. ' I'm guessing they're just a super long life bulb that's also less efficient because it's at 3000 degrees. I've included a photo for comparison: The X-ray is the light on the left (as seen in the photo). The bulb on the right is the original equipment bulb (now 18 months old based on the vehicle sticker's MFG date), and the blueish light is from a 300 lumen LED flashlight.
Upgraded bulbs will not last as long as these. It's a good idea to look up how to install on YouTube first. This light bulb was designed in Germany and manufactured in China. We replaced the GM OEM bulbs after 6 years because they were becoming dimmer and nearing the end of their useful life.
