Questions & Answers

Will they fit a Chevy S10 from 1991?

They will, in fact.

Are these going to fit in my Toyota Corolla from 1995?

Larry Wade, if you're reading this, I'd like to thank you for FYI, I did the same thing for my 2000 Toyota Avalon, and it said it was compatible. I ordered them and got them, but they were clearly too big for the opening in my instrument cluster. 50% larger seemed to 50% be.

Are they compatible with a Mazda B4000 from 2001?

I have no idea. They claimed they would fit my daughter's 2001 Echo, but they didn't work at all.

Are there four smaller sockets and six larger sockets included in this set? These are what I'm trying to put in my 2002 Chevy Tahoe. ?

It doesn't work that way. The t10, on the other hand, will fit in a nbs Chevrolet. They're in my 99 and 00; all I have to do now is fiddle with the placement to make sure they turn on. However, they appear to be fantastic!

They are functional and attractive
4/5

Super bright and adds a lot of interest to the instrument cluster. They are functional and attractive. Super bright and adds an aftermarket look to the instrument cluster. I would have given five stars if two of the LED bulbs hadn't already failed. So far, they've been in place for about four months. br>NOTE: THIS PAGE HAS BEEN UPDATED. These lights will start flashing and going on and off after about 6 months, which is very annoying, and it's a pain to take the dash apart every couple of months to replace a bulb that will only last a month or so.

Review of the video
5/5

It's a fun and inexpensive way to change up your look. You should be able to handle this if you have even a slight mechanical aptitude. Simply follow a methodical approach and be gentle with the plastic components of your vehicle's interior. If you find my quick video useful in visualizing the results you can expect on your own rig, please vote it up and I'll try to do more video reviews on future purchases. to the skeptics; br>br> So these were polarity marked, to put it that way. Is there a mark on the back of your cluster so you can tell if it matches? In the end, making a few flips is very simple. When you read the item description (and a few reviews), it's clear that this is exactly how leds work. What kind of person do you think you're dealing with here? Is it possible to give an item a "really great" rating for exactly what it says on the box? It appears that everyone else did this without having to turn the cluster off and on multiple times.

This is a fantastic idea
4/5

These were purchased for my 1997 Toyota and are a perfect fit. br>These things are as bright as they come. They are, after all, quite colorful. br>Because they are polarized, you must check them before reassembling everything and spin them 180 degrees if they do not light up. br>Did I mention how bright they are? br>br>On a side note, because I had several spares when I was finished, I used two of them in an old turntable with an 8-track record player. bulbs that are volts br>They're still quite bright, and the LEDs (the blue part) fit snugly into an E10 screw base if the wires are slightly bent. br>br>The photos show the original bulbs with LEDs, the back of my instrument cluster (I double-checked the polarities because I'm lazy), the new bulbs in use (in daylight), and the turntable socket.

Install was a pain, and the light was not as bright as I had hoped
3/5

In my 2002 Ford Ranger, I installed these lights. br>br>It's infuriating that there's no way of knowing which way to put these lights in. Even the instructions say to flip a coin and try it one way first, then figure it out if the bulb doesn't light. br>I had to take apart my instrument cluster three times to get them all pointing in the right direction, and I'm still not sure if they're all lit or not (depending on where the dash appears to be a little too dim), but I'm not tearing it apart again for this guesswork. The blue LEDs are a super saturated deep blue. br>br> I had hoped for a more vibrant shade of modern light blue. Because of the darker color, the numbers around the gauges are difficult to read. The gauge needles were 4 times brighter than the lettering, so it wasn't quite what I was looking for. This could be due to the ranger's green tinted filter behind the gauges, which is canceling out light in unexpected ways. br>br>In the future, I might switch to a bright white LED, but I was hoping to avoid the drab ranger green. br>br>On the plus side, my dimmer roller still works perfectly, with a full range of dim to bright settings. br>I've attached a photo.

This looks great on my 2002 Yukon XL
5/5

This looks great on my 2002 Yukon XL, even though it says it won't fit. Take a look at the photos from before and after.

Bright, attractive, and in need of directional arrows
3/5

Because my instrument cluster requires 20 bulbs, I purchased two packs. When the bags were first installed, five of them failed to work. They're directional because they're LED. I had to rotate them 180 degrees to get them to work, but they're now all functional. Because they don't have a directional indicator to show which way is up, the only way to figure it out is by trial and error. as well as trial and error This may appear insignificant, but it is significant. br>br>It's a lot of work to remove the instrument cluster, and there's no way to test it without completely re-installing it. putting it in place It took a few attempts to get each bulb to work properly. As a result, I'm disappointed that I'll have to repeat it so often. br>br>Once installed, they are extremely bright and look fantastic in the vehicle. For the low price, I suppose the extra effort is a fair trade-off.

I installed blue LED lights in my 1999 GMC Sierra 1500
4/5

These are blue LED bulbs that can be used to replace the old incandescent bulbs in the instrument cluster. NOT the type of bulbs used in blinkers, warning lights, high beam, or cruise control. Yes, they work fine; the difficult part is removing and reinstalling the instrument cluster. br>br>I've heard of bad bulbs. Put it down to a lack of practice. The new LED bulbs' wires must be aligned correctly (possibility one), the bulbs must be inserted correctly in the new smaller black carriers (possibility two), and the most common, I suspect, is that they are installed backwards (possibility three and most likely) through no fault of the installer. Simply unscrew the new LED bulb, rotate it 180 degrees, and replace it. If it still doesn't work, install one of the good incandescent bulbs as a test, and if it works, make a new LED bulb assembly and try again. If the new bulb does not work, remember to reverse the procedure. You'll almost certainly have a few extra bulbs on hand.
