I've seen a 300 lumen bulb described as "super bright," so "super bright" is a useless rating. They appeared to go to great lengths to avoid mentioning brightness. I would not purchase a bulb with no indication of brightness.

Newer cars are a little pickier about using the 'right' product, so double-check that you're using the right one. The vehicle is most likely looking for a precise amperage or voltage. Perhaps it's just a circuit that's been completed. Anyway. Look in your vehicle's owner's manual to see what it's looking for. Everything else has failed. If it works and you don't get any errors, go to Advance Auto and get the right product. Then you're aware that it's a product-specific issue. Keep these on hand as a backup, but don't use them on a regular basis if you're getting an error.
These sockets are compatible with bulb 1156 bayonet style sockets.

" GET OUT OF MY WAY OR BE BLASTED BY MY LASERS!" is the new mantra. MWA-HA- Whoa, they're so bright that looking at them straight in the eyes hurts! EXACTLY what I was looking for in turn signals for my motorcycle. Every little bit helps when it comes to being more visible and noticeable to the phone-using public. pot of texting On the roads of the Denver metro area, there are a number of drivers who are smoking. I was hesitant at first because the price is higher than most, but in the end, these LEDS are well worth the money. They appear to be well-made and of high quality. I wouldn't be surprised if they were much more expensive, but I'm glad they aren't.
Don't waste your money on LED 1156 replacement/substitute bulbs that are more expensive. I had to return a number of higher-priced bulbs because they didn't fit. These bulbs are significantly brighter than OEM light bulbs, and they fit perfectly in Harley Davidson bullet style turn signals.
This is an 1156 type bulb base with one contact point on the bottom, and it didn't fit my application because I didn't do any research first. It's only used for a single task. Only use the turn signal. I needed a bulb base with two contact points for separate functions, like the 1157 type. Both a turn signal and a parking light are required. Nonetheless, the bulb is well-made, and all of the LEDs worked properly. The light output is far superior to that of the stock glass bulbs. If you only need a single function amber bulb, these are the ones to get.
It's a great addition to increase a motorcycle's visibility. I couldn't get the red brake lights to work with these in my Harley 04 Super Glide, but maybe with some load leveling it would work. They're fantastic even in smoked housing, and I've had them for one riding season. It's well worth the extra money to be seen with them. Next, I plan to include them in 07 Road Glide. Glass is used to create a solid part.
So far, everything is going well! br>I had to sand down one of the pins on the side of the connector to fit it on my vehicle, but it otherwise works just like the original bulbs, only brighter! br>In the photos I've uploaded, the left side blinker is this LED bulb, and the right blinker is an incandescent bulb from the factory.
This review is for the 1156 version of these lights, which I used as a reverse light in my factory tail lights on my 2006 Jeep Wrangler. These were a simple swap and a perfect match. They're a lot brighter than the standard bulbs. I've added two images to the mix. One has the LED on the left side and the stock light on the right, while the other has both LEDs. I'm hoping they'll last for a long time.
On a Piper Cherokee 140, I ordered these for the interior and rotating beacon. Another bulb I bought from a different vendor caused horrible feedback in my aviation radio. It got to the point where turning off the beacon was the only way to communicate. These bulbs are incredibly bright, even more so than the beacon's original GE1940 50W incandescent bulb. The only problem I encountered was that the bulb's tip was far too thick to fit into the socket. It's easily fixed by sanding it down a little. Only time will tell how long this will last, given that it is on for several hours at a time, and I will update this review in a few months.
