These LED license plate lights came with my Odyssey when it was time to replace the license plate lights. These LED bulbs were bright and even in illumination and seemed to have a cool white appearance. My score was 10 since I had a Despite replacing them, I was still having the same problem bright light, very short service life, maybe only three hours or so of use. My lucky break was that I noticed both times before getting a ticket that they were burnt out, but under no circumstances would I purchase them again.
Only comment is that they are so bright that they actually caused me to take them out of my license plate bulbs on my car because they were too much in that place. These replacement bulbs had a slightly lower brightness than the originals and I simply substituted them with what I had. I absolutely love this product. It produces an intense white light. This bulb is smaller than a halogen 168 or 194 bulb, so it should be possible to mount it on any existing fixture.
I used these not for the brightest light, but for areas where the light needs to be softer and more luminous. I would recommend for vanity lights, license plates, other small interior lights, etc, where you need for something more than stock filament lights.
Here's an update! It has three directions, but they flicker light, drawing too much power. I went with an "updated" version. You do not have to worry about your battery draining, thanks to these perfect, bright white lights. It would be great to have another pack of these, they are really good for lighting up the interior of the house. The LED lights set the bar for a good LED light that I was happy to purchase from the very beginning. My '04 Honda Civic Ex looks awesome in this. You can see the original bulb on the left and the two new LEDs on the middle and right of the photo attached. It is a bright white light that is very clean. On the license plate and in the trunk, the plates are very nice. I'm pleased with this purchase.
Previously, the bulbs that I replaced were covered in numerous LEDs, and I was concerned that the Oxilam bulbs would be less bright since they contain only It wasn't what I thought it would be. I replaced my old LED bulbs with Oxilam bulbs that were at least twice as bright.
The main purpose of these lights is to light up my interior (bottoms of my doors, cargo area, and It is amazing how much brighter these two little LEDs are than a HOT incandescent bulb. As soon as I burned my hand on the factory bulbs, I became concerned about the plastic housings of the car. The LED bulbs do not generate nearly the amount of heat that incandescent bulbs do. My entry into the vehicle as well as the cargo area are really well lit thanks to them. Two of these bulbs were put in my headlights to replace my parking lights, and it's incredible how different they are It has made a big difference to their vehicles with just a little bit more light, so I gave my extra lights to two of my friends. These are great LEDs to brighten up your vehicle if you want to keep it in good condition.
The ten I had in mind would be enough, so I bought this set as a backup, but it seems my 2002 GMC Yukon has more lights than I thought it did. I am using them for my door side markers (4), license plate lights (2), console lights (2) and floor lights (2). In addition to this, they are flat chips with a bright LED on each side. If you are looking for a spotlight type bulb, this might work if it's installed in a mirrored fitting, but it would probably be better to find ones with LEDs As far as my truck is concerned, I can put them in the places I like.
Having two LEDs, they can light up a plate as well as the bed and they do so with much more than adequate It is nice to have bulbs with soldered areas to make contact without bent over wires. They fit nicely and snugly in the socket, not like bulbs with bent over wires.
