Honestly, when these lights first arrived, I was a little worried because they are packaged in a VERY retro format, but I really like them! As I have decked out my Jeep Renegade in the Spidey spirit, I got the spider web rugs for it. There is just something about these lights that makes them pop. I like how bright they are, and how easy it is to see the picture. It is a little bit clunky, but overall you can't tell because you are only focused on the image projected. It is possible to turn the lights on and off by pushing the button on the light, or by opening the door and passing the magnet over the switch. When you have the door open for a long period of time, they will switch off on their own due to the timer. As well as being battery operated, they have a light. My only concern is the magnets on my car, they are very noticeable on the interior and I worry that if I were to have my car detailed, they may attempt to remove them either intentionally or accidentally since they are located on the plastic of the interior. In order to avoid hitting my feet when getting in and out of the car, I had to position mine at such a height that my feet would not hit it. While this is my one and only concern, I did end up purchasing an additional set for each of my doors because I liked them so much.

I love how it turned out. It is hoped that the batteries will last a long time. My logo is also cut off due to the design of my vehicle. However, I don't mind as that is my vehicle fat. the sliding doors of my van.

When I open the door, I expected the light to automatically come on, but I have to keep pressing the on button for it to work. That makes it pointless to be honest.
