It's a brake cargo light, not a reverse light, Walter.
The one I brought leaked as well, but with a little silicon, the leaking was stopped.

The third brake light was actually a lot easier to install than I had anticipated. The light appears to be made of high-quality materials and is extremely bright, almost to the point of competing with the headlights (I've also replaced my fog lights with LEDs and am considering switching all of my vehicle's exterior lighting to LEDs). I'd say it's on par with OEM in terms of quality, but it's brand new and cutting-edge technology.
This third brake light is one of my favorites. It appears to be fantastic. I replaced it with a 3 year old one that warped and condensed in the sun. This third brake light appears to be very contemporary and stunning. It was a good investment.

It causes the computer to believe that the third brake light is out, preventing cruise control from working. Ford's method of informing you that the light has gone out.
It fit perfectly on our 2006 Ford F-150 flareside and was very simple to install. There were no wires to deal with. It performs as expected and appears to be in good condition.
When it rains, the truck leaks water.
Excellent, it appears to be excellent, and the price is excellent.
It's a very nice light and very easy to install, though some instructions could be better because one side has a large gap and I couldn't screw it down any further because I was afraid of breaking the light, so I just sealed it, but overall it's a very nice light.
