I see this with the American Muscle Garage and a car, is this the same part as the one by American Muscle?

I bought a similar item from American Muscle, but not from them. It's a perfect match for the original. The Lenz comes in a smoked gray finish with red LEDs. When the brakes are applied and illuminated, there is more than enough brightness. In just five minutes, you'll have a simple plug-and-play replacement.

Is it normal for the light to remain on all of the time?

No, this isn't what you'd expect. Because these are LED lights, double-check the polarity of your wiring. Normally, they are plug-in devices. I'm not sure how they're wired because you're playing. You've got a polarity problem if these lights are on but your regular tail lights aren't.

Is this item approved by the Department of Transportation?

My vehicle is a California-made Mustang. It came with U.S. technology. parts. I replaced the third light, which had failed, with a Canadian-made one. It lasted only a year and a half. This one, which I bought a while ago, is far superior to the Canadian one. The LEDs have become brighter and have not yet begun to burn out. It's well worth the money, and it was most likely made in Mexico or elsewhere, as is customary. I doubt anyone checks to see if it was approved by the Department of Transportation. It arrived on time, and I didn't realize until later that the price had been quoted in U. S. dollars. funds. As a result, it was slightly more expensive, costing $52 in total. 39 CDN. It, on the other hand, is a better deal than the $75. The locals are demanding a price of $0. 00. My car has had two replacements, the first of which was purchased locally. It lasted me two years before four of the LEDs went out. This appears to be a common LED lighting hazard these days. Because my Pony is a keeper, I'm hoping this one will last a little longer. Amazon and iJDMTOY did an excellent job.

After a few months, it was discovered to be a failure

Had it for about three months before failing completely. Flickers dim, and half of the LEDs are turned off. It's no surprise they only offer a 90-day warranty. A replacement was not sent by the company. Spend your money on something else. br>.

Is not smoked and is completely clear. Is very visible and bright. It doesn't appear to be smoked, but it does appear to be clear.

This bright, responsive light did an excellent job of achieving the desired result. It does not require an additional resistor because it is internally ballasted.
