It's a no go - It is directly connected to the 4 light cab roof - There are two brake lights and two white lights on the cab bed. just as well as it should. Make sure you remove the screws from the plastic housing beneath the cab roof with care. In my case, on the coast, the screws had rusted, so I used Dremel tool screw head slots in order to remove them. There is a lot of light!

This iBrightstar Newest LED light kit works on our 2007 Dodge Ram 3500 MegaCab 4x4 Dually. It has lights for the third brake light & turn signal. Located across the whole back of the cab above the sliding rear window are lights for the cargo bed. You just need OEM plug-ins & play It can be played right out of the box with no modifications necessary. Add no additions of any kind, no extra add ons, no extra Canbus, no extra resistors, nothing extra. I like how bright the red LED is The clear LED lights on the cargo beds are very bright and produce daylight white light. In terms of longevity, I cannot comment since I just installed them this month, otherwise I would be lying to you, but I will let you know if anything goes wrong. I pray God's blessings for all of you.
It's such a disappointment, as I was so excited to try them on after reading the reviews! I got these lights thinking it would fit on my GMC Sierra but it did not.
The following were purchased in January of I just took out my left bulb (so a bit over a year ago). After having my truck since August 2013, I bought these replacement bulbs after the original bulbs failed. It's my sincerest regrets, but my experience shows that a cargo light should last more I have given the overall rating of 1 star because the bulb has already gone It is so easy to install, and the lights are so bright, they are actually great for tailgating Blow the cargo light on so they are blinded.
I am thrilled with these, especially since I am not a big fan of halogen-based lighting. The red lens bulb is included with the light so it's easy to replace. It is extremely easy to install.
It was smooth enough to install You can remove two screws (T20 torx) and the housing will fall apart. The wiring harness must be unplugged (this is easy), and then these little bulbs must be replaced with the OEM bulbs. When I was under the hood, I used Aero 303 Protectant to protect the closed walls Gaskets made from cell foam that keep moisture and other elements out This is an added benefit. I really love that these are brighter than OEM, that they fit snugly, and that they provide better visibility than OEM. Don't be afraid to purchase. I did not award stars for longevity since the install has not been fully completed yet.
This LED bulb was purchased to replace the stock interior bulbs in my new Chevrolet I was able to install it in no time. The interior lights simply require the removal of the clear plastic covers, replacing the old bulbs with the new ones and reinstalling them. Just like the brake/cargo light, the license plate light was changed and it was simply a matter of twisting to unlock as no screws are needed. Replacing the battery is easy and fast. Exactly what the doctor ordered. There is a lot more brightness and clarity in the light now.
It took me about 20 minutes to install although the bulbs aren't as snug in the outlet as factory incandescent bulbs. It made sense to me to use silicone to seal the leds into the outlets, otherwise they could lose their seal. The bulbs are definitely brighter than the ones in the factory. As of yet, I have not evaluated them in dimmed light so I will update my review at a later date.
