Yes, it includes a gasket, my friend.
Yes, LED lights have been installed, John.
It fits well, has a good seal, but the red portion of the lens is a little pale. For the most part, it is barely noticeable.

After some more use, I'll post an updated review. This upgrade is simple to install thanks to the included gasket. The cargo light produces a lot of lumens. I'm surprised right now!.
I've only had it for a few hours, but it was relatively simple to set up. br>br>Just make sure you don't lose sight of the tiny plastic bag containing two rubber washers that will seal the screw hole. Based on the comments I read, the main gasket is thicker than I had expected. I'm not sure if it was cut perfectly, but it seems to hold together well. br>br>I got the impression it was slightly heavier than the factory model. The red was thought to be too light, according to some. If that's the case, I'm sorry I didn't notice. To me, it appears to be a good idea. The bed light is more bright than the one that came with the mattress. br>br>If there are any major problems, I'll come back and update my review. (That's exactly what everyone says!.
It claims to fit a 2007 Chevy Silverado; however, the connection is incorrect; some have a three-pin connection, while mine has a four-pin connection.
It's a high-quality part, and it includes a gasket as well as gaskets for the screws, but it's not red enough. It's as if someone sprayed red paint on a clear lens, turning it orange rather than red. Finding a good third brake light for this truck is difficult.
This product isn't for you if you're too lazy to do that.
My truck is a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. The Stock light was becoming a little crunchy and didn't appear to be very bright. Because it is LED and looks very professional, I chose this design. Yes, it is a perfect match to the original, with the exception that it uses LEDs rather than regular bulbs. The light is extremely bright and fits exactly like the OE light, complete with a seal. The plug is an exact match as well, and it only took a few minutes to install. This is a light that I would purchase again.
I replaced an old, cracked OEM brake light with a leaking weather seal. This one installed without a hitch, functions flawlessly, and completely seals the leak. Even if the LED looks weird with the original taillights, it's much less expensive than a direct OEM replacement.
It's bright, but the fit is terrible, and I had to add gasket material to keep it from leaking. The white bed lights are aimed above the bed rather than in it, and they don't even light up the bed. To replace this, I'll be looking for another brand.
