I purchased these for the brake lights on my 2017 Accord sedan and they work quite well
4/5

purchased these just as a curiosity to test out on the brake lights on my 2017 Honda Accord sedan. Since I was extremely disappointed with these same bulbs in Amber (which were much dimmer than the stock incandescent bulbs in my Accord's turn signals), I didn't expect much from these. I certainly had a pleasant surprise with the ZEVO bulbs and I cannot say enough good things about them. Not only are they more intense than the stock 21W incandescent bulbs in this car, but they also outperform the Philips LED brake light bulbs as well I am using the Red Vision 7440 & X-Trac Video Recorder - One size fits all, the Extreme Ultinon T20 Red (not available in North America). The Philips Red Visions earned a favorable review overall, though I did poke fun at the bulbs' brightness, which was slightly darker than stock (but not so dim that it was unusable or unsafe), and the shadow cast in the output where the bulb sits inside In the Philips X-Series In terms of brightness, the Ultranons are just a tad brighter than the Vision models and about as bright as stock, but they are three times as expensive. Moreover, the reflector doesn't fill out quite as much since they only have a single LED per side of the bulb, rather than four like on the Visions (which more closely resemble incandescent filaments in size and shape). Based on similar manufacturing principles (one powerful LED on each side of the bulb, firing towards the reflector), the ZEVOs are very similar in both appearance and output (not as much reflector fill as stock bulbs or Visions, but noticeably more intense). Even though it was rated only one, it was a great performer. The 5W Ultinons appear to be a bit brighter than the 2W Ultinons (at least to my admittedly untrained eye). The Philips Vision X-Ray (and other Therefore, while they may work fairly well in my 2017 Accord sedan, there is no guarantee that they will perform as well in another vehicle using the Unless someone else with the same vehicle decides to write a review, it's impossible to know in advance for sure. If you choose the other option, you'll have to purchase them and learn the hard way, which is what I did as no one with an Accord 2016 or newer has reviewed these. It appears that they prefer housings with lots of reflector space around the bulb since their design emits light only backwards rather than forwards or to the sides as an incandescent bulb does. Because of this, it is also important that the bulb be installed If the bulb is installed at an angle to the reflector (such as the third brake light housings on 2016+ Honda Civic sedans) the body of the bulb blocks a significant portion of the light, creating a dark patch where an incandescent bulb would appear bright. A small shadow will still be cast by the bulb even in housings where they work well, but that could not be avoided The shadow is visible on my Accord because it splits the beam in half right down the middle. As a result of the additional thickness of Philips bulbs, they cast an even larger shadow than the Zevos. In my Accord, the bulb is installed at a downward angle to the reflector, which causes the shadow effect to be worse than if it were horizontal. (What was Honda thinking? It's odd that you can see shading on the reflectors even with the stock bulbs, but only when seen from some I regret to report that all angles of LED lighting produce shadows. *When installation is taking place, please note that these are polarity sensitive. So don't be discouraged if the bulbs do not work the first time. Simply switch the bulbs Based on my research, it turned out that the side of the bulb with the print corresponds to the positive side of the bulb (7440 bulbs have only one pin on each side, one positive and one negative). Sylvania neglected to label the pins on its bulbs like Philips does. One of the things I dislike about these bulbs is that their construction is not quite as solid as Philips', which you could see and feel are very solid. Also, the connector pins seem to be quite sturdy. There isn't much refinement to ZEVO's appearance or feel, and the connector pins are very thin and easily bent. On top of that, they're loose and wiggle around all the time. Confident but lacking in self-assurance Inventive and seem the most likely place for a breakdown if handled improperly. You can register the bulbs online for an unlimited lifetime warranty covering defects for as long as you own your car, but you will need your full name, country, phone number, vehicle make, model, VIN number, mileage, retailer name, and of course the bulb part number to qualify for this In addition, I was given the option of uploading the image of the receipt. However, I decided not to go through with the registration process since I was not sure if it was necessary. as if they were looking for a bit too much information for a simple warranty on a pair of light bulbs (My phone number? My Is that true? Could Philips need the same information for their warranty cover? I haven't checked, but wonder if they do? The only other thing I have to complain about is the Although the bulbs snap securely into the sockets and there is no danger of them falling out, they have a little bit of play in them, and if lightly shaken, they rattle around a bit. I enjoy how Philips Visions and Ultinons snap into place with no play, and they feel solid in my hands. Though I doubt being a little loose will cause any problems, I have to admit that I find it a little annoying to know they're bouncing around inside Red version wasn't altered at all to fit, in contrast with Amber, where some minor trimming was necessary before it would fit into my turn signal sockets (and as far as I am aware, I ordered As for their quality, these are (by far) the best inexpensive LED bulbs that I have used in my Accord's brake lights, and I highly recommend them to anyone with a 2016 or 2017 Accord. In terms of performance and quality, I do not believe that there is a better option at this price point. I'd give this a 4/5 star rating the pros are It's instant - Those bought by me work great brighter and more intense light than stock (on my particular vehicle), Osram made, and they are inexpensive. The product is manufactured by Sylvania. It is delivered with a full lifetime warranty and uses 2 well-known technologies Instead of 80 chips, LED's were used (as with so many cheap, poorly performed lights. There are many other bulbs that have been made)*Con It has less substantial build quality than Philips Visions, somewhat loose fitting in bulb socket, warranty registration asks for your VIN and phone number, does not fill out the reflector as well as an incandescent bulb, creates a shadow where the bulb sits in the housing. I wish only the amber version would have done the same. ZEVO finally has a bulb that does not embarrass itself next to its incandescent counterpart. I am attaching a few pictures that illustrate how the ZEVOs compare to (brand new and barely used) stock incandescent bulbs, the Philips Visions, and the Philips X-Edge bulbs This type of ultinon is extreme. Poor evidence is hard to analyze, but if we look at it from this angle - You can see how intense the ZEVO bulbs are in these phone photos, but in person, you may find them to be even greater. On both sides of the first picture, you can see the stock bulbs. ZEVO bulb is on the left side in the second picture and the stock bulb is on the right side in the third picture. The ZEVO is on the left and the Philips Vision is Below is the final snapshot of the ZEVO on the left and the Philips X-ray on the right On the right is Extreme Ultinon. It is important to note that the engine is running in both of the first two pictures in order to use real-life testing to compare wattages of the incandescent bulbs This is the situation around the world. With the engine off, LED bulbs are notably dimmer, as incandescent bulbs are more sensitive to voltage. Since incandescent bulbs are dimmer with the engine off, comparing them can be misleading.

I tested it on my 2018 Nissan Rogue and it worked perfectly
5/5

I needed to replace the brake lights, and these Sylvania LED bulbs worked specifically for that purpose. Due to the 2 bright LEDs on the sides, it gives it a neat look and lets light spread across the reflections. The brake pedal is immediately activated and off when pressed, just as with the high mounted brake light above the rear trunk, and the light is brighter than standard I have no errors at all since my car's turn signals are a different bulb.

It is important to ensure that the fit, finish, and appearance are in good condition
5/5

As luck would have it, I have an easy time installing this. To change the brake light bulbs, simply remove a few screws, twist off the connector, and twist on another one! The replacement of both bulbs takes about 15 minutes. The man even compared LED bulbs side by side and found that LED bulbs respond half a second faster than incandescent bulbs (OEM). You stop in a panic when it happens. Time is of the essence (even in split seconds). A MUST READ!.

This is a direct replacement for the It is a little bit brighter than the old incandescents that were replaced, but it is instantaneous
5/5

As OEM LED brake lights have a longer life and are faster to illuminate than regular bulbs, these come with a lifetime warranty plus can be used on any current model. With a lifetime warranty, you'll need to register them, but it's not a bad deal. It is hoped that the warranty will never be necessary.

Having used these bulbs, I found them to be of good quality and they work well
4/5

In addition to the bulbs I bought, I also bought Aftermarket Chinese bulbs are cheap use them By flickering them or causing them to expect that these will last for the life of my car and will use a lot less power than my current batteries. Just like incandescent bulbs, this bulb is incredibly easy to install. I do not know whether there is a difference between the regular sylvania led bulbs and the LED bulbs from the brand we are currently using I like these Zevo versions that are brighter. Based on the wattage ratings listed on the packages, it would lead me to believe that they are the same.

The center brake light in the 2009 Civic is compatible with this lens
5/5

A bulb like this fits the 2009 Honda Civic's center brake light. The light is bright, but not excessively bright, and the color is well-suited for this type of lamp Directional, with no patterns of dark spots or scattered light.

This is nice

It looks good and works just fine. Neither super bright nor anything like that. The bulb is as bright as an ordinary one. The star rating will change based on the longevity of the product.

WARNING HORIZONTAL FLASHING OF BRAKE LAMPS
4/5

This is the part used in the Honda Pilot 2008. There was no issue with the BRAKE LAMP WARNING staying Hyper flashing was also a problem. Although there are ways to bypass it, it would take too much effort.
