JDM ASTAR Super Bright Error Free 921 912 3035 Chips White LED Bulbs For Backup Reverse Lights

Honestly, the only thing I don't like about the light is that it has streaks and patterns, but this might be because I'm using a reflector. As I compare it to halogen lamps which take a split second to achieve full brightness or turn off, I dig how this lamp turns on or off instantly. More than half of the LED bulbs we installed in our house failed within a year after we installed them, even though they promised 20 years of life. I can't believe how silly this is! It was a cheap reverse lamp, but still, I would expect it to last more than two months before one of the lamps stopped working. I would not recommend using this product.

We upgraded the reverse lights on our 2008 Subaru Outback with these and were pleased with the results. Their only offence is that they cause radio interference, thus they don't get 5 stars. (Degrees of tolerance vary based on station) I tried to combat this with ferrous chokes, but that did not Even with the static while backing up, the reverse lights aren't constantly on as do the tail / marker lights, so I can not complain about the bright as all get out light they IF they fail unexpectedly, I WILL edit this review however, they have been in for three months and so far have not had any issues. EDIT Over six months in, there have been no new issues. I would like to add that also worth mentioning is that the radio antennas for the 05-07 are not as good. On a 2009 Legacy / Outback wagon, an embedded indicator is situated just above the reverse lights in the rear window. There is a possibility that this is one of the factors contributing to the radio interference issue we've experienced. If there is a bit of static when reversing, I can live with that. This is an extremely bright color. The factory backup lights are dim, and I had difficulty seeing the road well. I also agree with several other reviewers who found the lights to be a problem. Wow! After I plugged those babies in, they were fantastic! Upon returning home at night, I had my son spot me to help me hook up, but the bright lights blinded him with their brightness. My old ones were familiar to him and I told him I had changed them out and he was amazed by the difference. I am still happy that I got them, even after 2 months.

Many sellers give misleading information about LED lights on the internet, making it difficult to buy LED lights. Over the past month, I have purchased about $100 worth of LED lighting for my car in hopes of finding exactly the right bulb for each position. This is a very bright pair. Most applications would find it too bright. There are 4 measurements on my scale. A Fluke meter is used to measure 8 watts at 12 volts with a lab 12 volt power supply. They were a necessity for my DRLs, and I'm very happy with them.

I bought these for my 2015 Toyota Highlander and I absolutely love them. I began replacing all the lights on this car with LEDs not long after we got it in January of this year (2018). Changing the backup lights was the first thing I did. I really like the lighting I've used in these and they make it clear to see behind me and in the backup camera on my As if the car were turned around with the high beams on, the lights on the car are bright enough to illuminate the whole front of my neighbors house.

they are based on the same socket, the only thing stopping you from using these in place of a 194 or 168 would be a lack of Earlier, I wrote that a 921 or 912 had a larger envelope and these were indeed larger than a 194 or 168. There are two types of high-power bulbs 921 and 912. There is no way these would fit for dash lights and for that purpose they are unsuitable. There is a light that is mounted to the electric step of an RV that was a standard 194 lamp that I replaced with an This is what I did after removing everything and replacing the bulb with the JDM ASTAR Extremely Bright 2000 Lumen 921 bulb. It was much brighter than the 194 LED bulb. It would have been no problem to fit that 921 LED bulb under that 3 inch round lens housing. The reason I did this was SAFETY as I want to be able to see the steps clearly at night, and the yellow lens is perfect for preventing insects from flying into my closet!.

It happened twice to me to order these, both times they arrived DOA and I had to request replacements from Amazon.
The first time, back in July, we replaced our old screens. They were easy to install, and were bright and tidy. The reason for their second star is purely because of that. As for the second set I ordered, the replacements arrived too dead as well. It is an unacceptable level of poor quality, and I will not order from you again.
