*Update*. These are what I used on my 2010 Tundra. They perform admirably. I simply disconnected the old bulbs and replaced them with these new ones. It's nice and bright, but not overly so. They can get quite hot. br>br> Although not as hot as incandescent bulbs, they are still quite warm. br>br>Oh, and here's an old trick for removing difficult-to-remove incandescent bulbs: duct tape is a type of tape that is used to hold things Allow time for the bulb to cool before wrapping it in duct tape. Simply pull out a small folded-over section for something to grab. ***Update*** After 5 months of use, half of the bulbs started flickering and eventually burned out. Due to the bulb's short lifespan, I switched to a single start.
Despite the fact that it was advertised as being compatible with the 921, it did not work as a reverse light. It turned out to be a little too long as well. In contrast to other Prime items, they wouldn't let me return it without deducting shipping. br>br>UPDATE: br>br> HX Online, the seller, contacted me directly via email and offered to let me keep the bulbs in exchange for a complete refund. I appreciate that their customer service went out of their way to help me get a partial refund back on track.
I used these to replace factory incandescent 921 bulbs in some factory accessory lights on a vehicle. I had previously installed another brand of LED for the same purpose, but these new bulbs were significantly brighter than even those that were brighter than the incandescent, but they had begun to flicker or go dead, most likely due to broken solder. For a bulb of this type, these are extremely bright. br>br>Unfortunately, one of them is flickering after less than three months. Again, I believe the solder has broken due to vehicle vibration. The design appears to be insufficiently durable for this application. However, when I went to write my scathing review of their failure, I discovered that the package I purchased only came with four bulbs, and I had only used two of them. br>br>In my review of the bulbs, I criticized their performance. My money was promptly refunded by the seller, and as a result of my overall satisfaction, I have revised my rating. br>br>* These are the brightest 921 bulbs I've ever used, far brighter than incandescents and other LEDsbr>* The package contains four bulbs, which is a good value - enough to have replacements when one failed in my casebr>* The seller provides excellent customer service and stands behind their product.
Installed on 2019 RAM, it appeared to be perfect at first. This vehicle is very bright, and it has only been driven 5 times. The average annual mileage is 6,000 miles. The passenger side reverse began to lightly flicker after less than 5 months of minimal driving, and after a few more uses, it has become a heavy flicker. Soon after, a second lamp appeared, which is now flickering lightly. It was not worth the money; I should have spent $5-$10 instead. I spent an extra ten dollars and upgraded to a higher-quality LED lamp.
9 months. These were used to replace the cargo light on the back of a 2016 Ford F150 pickup truck. This light, I understand, flashes on and off frequently and is susceptible to heavy unintentional usage. With that said, I had hoped for a year's worth of service from such low-cost LED bulbs at the very least. The right bulb began to flicker after about 6 months, so I replaced it with the spare. Because the withe light with a red lens was too orange for my liking, I replaced the center brake bulb with a red one this afternoon. With only ten months under my belt, I noticed the left bulb flickering. For the time being, I've replaced that bulb with the previous brake bulb, and everything seems to be working fine. That's probably why you get four, right? They're bright, they fit well, and they're inexpensive, so three stars. I'm not going to buy any more of these. These could be the bulbs you use to entice someone to buy your old bucket.
You know how you can stare at the sun for a long time and then die? That's how these lights are, and I bought them for my camper despite the fact that the label says something about automotive backup reverse lights or something along those lines. These are compatible with any 921 socket. I have them in one of those stupid "chandeliers" that some campers have, and they work fine, but the brightness makes them difficult to look at directly.
You've come to the right place if you're looking for a splash of color. These are incredible things. If you're going to use these for interior dome lights, I recommend going down to the 194 size. With only two of these, it was like daylight multiplied by two. Crew cab 2015 Ford F250 Lariat. I replaced them with 194 LED bulbs in the end. These, on the other hand, perform admirably in third brake lights and cargo lights. Awesome. If you have a flicker, simply remove the bulb and rotate it 180 degrees to change the polarity, and it will go away. This is an excellent product.
I wasn't sure what to expect for the price compared to a major name brand, so I bought them for my Nissan Frontier's reverse and cargo lights. Because the taillights and rear glass are tinted, backing in the dark is difficult, and the backup camera now appears to be daytime in complete darkness. Cargo lights have taken on the appearance of headlights. There will be no more fumbling around in a truck bed with insufficient lighting. The results were even better than I had hoped!.
