It's not something I'd try.
My homegirl's lights were controlled by a remote. However, I only had to get rid of these. My battery was constantly being depleted as a result of their actions. A kill switch is included in a different kit I bought.
Keep them away from heat because the protective silicone will melt and the heat will burn out the leds before that happens. Honestly, I wouldn't buy these again because the heat burned out some of the leds the second time I used them, and when I contacted them for a replacement, they never responded or did anything about it, despite the fact that I contacted them three times.

The LEDs are bright, and there are a variety of solid colors to choose from. You have the option of selecting a color or having it automatically scroll through all of them. After you've decided on a color, you can toggle between on and fade in. blink or go out. You can also alter the fade speed and blink rate. A wireless remote is used to make all of the adjustments. It remembers the last setting when you turn it off. The only thing you might need to do is buy some extension cables, depending on your location. Although it would be nice if NiLight had them listed, I was able to find a working set on Amazon. Although the adhesive appears to be made by 3M, it does not bear the 3M logo. Before applying, make sure the area has been thoroughly cleaned with isopropyl alcohol. I like the lighting in general.
I am completely enamored with the kit. I bought this for my Aprilia Atlantic 500 Scooter from 2004. It's a big touring bike with short cables, as is the case with everything great. I'm going to take my time and splice in longer wires so that I can place the strips wherever I want rather than where the manufacturer says they should go. All I want is for the bike to be covered from the front tire to the back plate, as well as on both sides. It will all work out in the end.
This LED light kit is fantastic for the bike, and if you take your time, you can make it look really sharp. I have a 2007 Yamaha R1. The only drawback is that the wires appear to be a little short, so you can't put the LEDs too far apart. As a result, the majority of the lights are focused on each other in the same general area. However, if you're still creative, you can use this kit to make the bike look good. Another great feature of this company is their customer service. I have a number of their bar and pod lights on my ATV, and they all work perfectly. I did have an issue with one light that began to malfunction, so I simply contacted the company. They were able to correct the problem and get me back out in the woods in no time, and I will continue to buy their products for that reason alone. Nilight!.
The wires on this kit are too short to extend from the front to the back of a 600 sport bike, and I can't imagine using it on a long cruiser or anything. The only added length on this kit is from the bus connector to the 8 way splitter, which is useless when the wire going to the back of the bike is 4 inches long. Stretch Armstrong's arms appear to be being pulled in all directions by the 8-way splitter. The lighting is intense. Adhesive gets a 3/5 rating as well. Unless you plan to splice in longer wires (4 tiny wires per cable), you should get a different kit.
First and foremost, this was packaged incredibly well; I've included some photos of what's included; you get all of the hardware needed to make these work; the wires appear to be the perfect link; I haven't had a chance to install them on my motorcycle because it's been raining; however, they turn right on when connected to my 12volt power supply; and last but not least, the remote! It had a few different functions, ranging from strobe mode to on and off, fade, or just always on; however, after 5-minutes, they became warm to the touch. The video is only 10 minutes long, but it is of excellent quality. Very bright, and I strongly advise you to buy it!.
Very bright, and I'll be riding at night with the red flashing setting. The wiring harness that came with it was long enough. The lights are easy to mount and should last for a long time.
This is what came with the warranty. I tried asking the seller for a replacement remote, but he replied, "No, we are not going to take calls on you. " That went on for a week until they were not going to reply and I now have a LED television. Mr. William Richter (br>Mr. William Richter (br>Mr. William Richter (br>) Mr.
They're a great addition to my bike's mods; I bought them primarily for the purple color, but I also like the fact that I can change the color with the remote and have multiple colors flash. It was a breeze to install, and it's been holding up well so far. I recommend purchasing these lights if you want to add a splash of color to your motorcycle.
