Remove the rubber mount and replace it with the OEM rubber mount, and reverse the relay itself so that its poles match positive and negative without having to rewire it A wiring diagram. The reason for the return was this.

The relays are quite cheap, but they won't work with certain bikes. The relay should have 2 sides, one for the starter, and another for the fuel pump. They are only compatible with the starter of those bikes.

Despite the fact that my starter solenoid relay was working fine, I replaced it with this one. It's strange that the old relay may have been the original (which means it was 22 years old) when I bought the bike a few months ago. I was able to replace it so inexpensively, I thought it was a good idea to go ahead with the I just turned the unit around so the positive and negative cables were lined up correctly, but you can see that the B and M sides are reversed on the new unit versus my old one. In addition, the rubber holder on the new one has openings along the sides, rather than on the top as my old one did, which means it doesn't The original holder was all I needed. There is no relay on the other end. Compared to other relays I have seen, this one seems to be solidly constructed.
