This seems to be a good quality product that works well. Starting the car is easier now that we don't have to beat the starter. It remains to be seen if everything works out, but so far it has. The Polaris Ranger 6X6 to which I installed this is a 2005 model.

It is no longer necessary to rattle the bendix. It was installed on my Polaris 500 Sportsman. No clutch assembly has to be removed in order for it to be installed. The bottom mounting hole on the starter should be bolted with a shorter bolt when reinstalling it. I was shocked to find that the starter and bendix assembly are manufactured here in the United States. The game is going well.

The starter works fine, but the bendix stalls for up to a second after the engine starts before it disengages. The engine was started over 30 times before it was The earphones appear to be in good condition and there is no sign of wear. I would say that it's a solid buy if it holds up. We will only know when time passes, but it does not appear to be causing any problems currently. A bendix gear on a flywheel is just bad until it releases from the.

There is noise

The starter bolts up and all the parts match, but it still grinds like the old one did. In the part of the side case that houses the starter, I replaced every component. It's still making the same noise when you start it.

It seems that this Bendix is malfunctioning and will not engage the starter. Lots of gear grinding has been reported. This is a disappointment considering the effort required.
