The Seadoo dealer shocked us with sticker shock and told us they were backed up for three weeks so we decided to do the Solonoid replacement I found a video on YouTube on how to fix it and it was on the water within three hours. It looked as if Seadoo went out of its way to make it difficult for us I could have completed the job in less than 15 minutes if I hadn't had to perform acrobatics to get to the inside of the jet ski. For several months, this product has worked well. I have no idea how long it will last, but for the money you can't beat it. If I need to replace it, I will order another one, and next time I should be able to get it more quickly. As of June 2017, it is As of August 2020, I am still employed!.

I wasn't even able to use it before it broke. While turning the socket using a 10mm socket, I managed to break it off as I was screwing on the nut. We waited literally two weeks for it to arrive and it broke within five minutes of receiving it. Rather than spending the extra 7 dollars on a cheap solenoid, I would recommend buying a quality one. The video is very poorly made.

It is possible to tighten the lug posts one time only. In my case, the post backed off and when I retightened it internally, it broke. It is far better to buy a better product instead of more expensive one. The deadline had passed by the time I attempted to return.

My solenoid is now cranked up after I installed it. ON the fourth and subsequent starts, it got stuck open, causing the starter motor to turn and turn until it died. It was necessary for me to disconnect the negative terminal in order to prevent the starter from being completely ruined. My bike wasn't in use yet, so I was able to disconnect the battery in about 30 seconds once I stopped using it. I would not recommend buying.

This is a junk product. Don't buy it. As soon as it was hooked up, I started my jet ski and everything was fine. When I tried to start it again, the starter hung up and refused to As soon as the motor is started, the solenoid does not close. If you don't replace your solenoid with an sbt, your starter will burn out.
