Questions & Answers
These are designed to fit a 302 V8 engine. I'm sure they'll connect, but they weren't built to do so. You'll have extra wires and incorrect lengths.
These are for a Ford 302 small block, not a Chevy. There is no distributor for the v6. A compatible wire kit can be found on the MSD website.
V8 5-cylinder engine
They are, in my opinion.

When it leaked, it shocked the hell out of me while I was trying to figure out what was wrong. br> I was too lazy to return these right away, so I'm only now getting around to writing my review. From 1997 to 2001, I had a set of Fird Motorsport wires on my Bronco. 2019 and I assumed I owed the new parts to my hunting truck, despite the fact that the old ones had served me well for 22 years. I used the same MSD cap, rotor, and coil (but kept my MSD dustributor) and switched to Accel copper core plugs, which have always worked well for me. Kevlar boot protectors are also used by me. I haven't driven this truck since then because I purchased another, but I'd like to rectify the situation. br>By the way, I've been a career tech for a long time, so no obvious suggestions are welcome. I paid more than this for these wires over 20 years ago, so they must have been poorly made.
Under the hood, I really like how the red looks! It adds a nice touch to the American Flag paint job. The wires were simple to connect and snap on, and they were even numbered to make it even easier. br>br>Update for July: I mean, they still work, but when I removed them to install nee plugs, the metal piece kept coming out of the plug wire, and the boot actually came off the ignition wire. br>br>I'm going to try another brand to see if they're made any better. br>br>.
A nice set of spark plug wires that are thick and of good quality. They were significantly beefier than the ones I replaced, and the lengths were ideal for my 1995 F-150. 150 5. The only complaint I have is that after I got them installed and routed the way I wanted them, they were pretty dirty from the 26 years of gunk in the engine bay, so I cleaned them with degreaser and a microfiber, and some of the white Ford lettering began to wear off. Even though I use a lot of degreaser, it shouldn't be able to remove paint. If I ever need to clean them again, I'll probably just use a milder, more diluted soap. On a more serious note, they function properly and are attractive. They haven't melted or been damaged by the heat so far.
I should've known they'd been returned because they looked old right out of the box and had grease marks on them. On the intake manifold, one plug wire has been torn and arced. I've used them before and had good results, but this is a bad set that was not quality controlled and resold once it was discovered to be defective.
Provide plenty of power to the plug, are well-fitting (though a tad long), and look great under the hood. It's also numbered, which makes routing the wires and ensuring that the correct wire is connected to the correct post on the distributor a lot easier. To keep everything organized and looking nice, I also bought some of those plastic wire holder things from the auto part store. br>br>1992 br>br>1992 br>br>1992 br> 0 F150.
Heat from the headers is not an issue.
I did it once more. bttttttttttttttttttttttttttt red. They were snatched from a warehouse at Amazon.
Some of the fittings are a little long, but they are still functional. They came with numbers on the wires, making it simple to connect them to the correct cylinder. Some of the fittings are a little long, but nothing out of the ordinary.
