I have a 2001 mercury 90hp 3cyl engine that fits this part. Three of them have been purchased so far. Wire for the spark plug is included.
I used it 3 times and it has stopped working. A message from Amazon said that I could no longer return it. I find the part to be of poor quality.
This is a replacement for the original. OEM is more expensive. Since I am a boat mechanic, I have worked with CDI for many years.
It is exactly I am very satisfied with the service.
I replaced the original, well-worn factory modules with these, and it couldn't have been simpler. They were a perfect fit, everything was lined up, and I was able to tune the motor back to factory specs using them.
I was expecting this to work.
