The 3156/57 base is the same, and when used in a 3156 socket, they operate in high brightness mode. They fit and work fine in my 18 F-shaped fixture. Reverse lights are 150. They're also available in red for tail/brake/turn sockets; you'll just need resistors.
Check your owner's manual to see what type of bulb you have.

These are spot on! br>br>Hint: if you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, try using the words "innov Even though the factory filament bulbs are clear, I can tell you that you'll want your LED replacement to be red to maintain the rich red color. Red lenses will appear washed out, almost pink-tinged, when illuminated by white LEDs. ish tint. This is the route to take!.
When I first plugged in the first one, it didn't work, so I assumed it was a dud. They appear to be polarized, because when I flipped it 180 degrees in the socket, HOLY MOTHER OF GOD, these things are bright, LOL. They're similar to headlights, and they're exactly what I needed to see behind me in a large SUV with dark tinted windows at night. I'm in a good mood right now. ) And, by the way, I could feel the heat from the tail lights above and below the White LED light, but not from the reverse lights at all.
Make sure you don't make the same blunder that I did. I went out and purchased a set of bright-colored pajamas. the- I installed sun 7440 LED bulbs in my brake lights and was promptly informed that I lacked driving lights by a friendly neighborhood traffic enforcement officer. What's going on here? It turns out that 7440 bulbs only have one filament, whereas the bulb I replaced had two. TWO filaments are used to make this product. One is for driving lights, and the other is for brake lights. everything is contained in a single bulb br>br>Thanks to the quick shipping, I had this expensive set of LED bulbs delivered to my door in no time. The build quality appears to be excellent, with some aluminum used in the structure for cooling purposes. br>br>I slid them in and yelled at my wife to hit the brakes and turn on the lights - and it all went smoothly. In contrast to some LED bulbs, they appear to work in any orientation. I've had these bad boys for a month and have yet to receive a complaint. All of the stories have happy endings.
Standard bulbs are a little brighter, but newer car LED tail lights are comparable. A four-bulb tail system was installed in my 2006 Subaru Forester. I'm no expert, but the build quality appears to be good. br>br>My main concern was that they weren't too bright and looked like my brake lights were on. They're a little brighter than a standard bulb, but not as bright as the led lights found on newer cars. When the break is pressed, these light up brightly. I was worried that they would be too bright and blind the person behind me at night, but because they are red, it's not a problem. br>br>I like how responsive the bulbs are, which is to be expected with LEDs, but I wasn't expecting it to show how slow the standard bulbs are. It's only a fraction of a second, but I'd like to believe it could mean the difference between hitting my car or not. br>br>Installation was similar to that of any other bulb. All four worked without any flipping or resistors, but this is a 12-year-old Subi that hasn't had any major technological upgrades. It's been a little over a week and there have been no issues in temperatures ranging from the mid-twenties to the upper-twenties. The temperature is in the 40s Fahrenheit. Summer will put me to the ultimate test, and if I have any issues, I'll post an update. I'm really happy right now. br>br>I've included photos of just the tail lights and the brake pressed. Note that the standard bulbs on the left (driver) are replaced by LEDs on the right (passenger). br>br>UPDATE: br>br> One year later, things are still going well.
I bought two sets of these, as well as several other bulbs, for my Class A Motorhome. On the coach, I'm sure there are at least 30 people. br>br>I replaced the stock bulbs with the bulbs that arrived. WOW, I was blown away. They shone brightly through the lens and looked fantastic. br>br>Here's the issue: all four bulbs have failed in less than six months. It's over 3,000 miles and time to call it a day! I've since replaced all of them with the original stock bulbs, one by one. br>br>It's a pity because I really like led bulbs. My house, cars, and everything else has, and there haven't been any problems, so I'm guessing this was a bad batch. Two other people who bought them within a month of me have also reported failures, which I discovered tonight. It could have simply been a bad batch, as I previously stated. br>br>I'll update my review with my findings if the manufacturer makes good on their promises and replaces the ones that failed.
They were a direct replacement for the factory reverse light bulbs, and now when I'm driving in reverse, it's almost as if I'm driving with a set of headlights on the back of the car. At night, I can see everything behind me thanks to the rearview camera in the car. If you want a little more brightness when reversing, this is a great option!.
It's difficult to find LED bulbs that are as bright as incandescent bulbs, but these did the trick. It was exactly what I was looking for, and I couldn't have asked for a better product.
I've been replacing all of the bulbs in my car with LEDs, and these lights were perfect for the backup lights. They produce a lot of white light and illuminate well even in low-light, rainy conditions. They also increased the visibility of my car while I was reversing for other drivers. This comes in handy when backing out of parking spaces. They're so bright that even during the day, it's difficult to miss that my car is in reverse. It was a simple process to remove the old lights and replace them with the new ones.
