Update- I haven't even been using it for a year and it's already failed. Whenever it is cold, it does not seem to work efficiently - The temperature was not freezing, but was about 40 degrees - It was blank a few weeks ago when I last viewed it. Also, there's a slightly hazy area right at the middle of the display which makes it very hard to read, so it's clear that moisture got inside In order to use my tach, I'll be purchasing one with a REPLACABLE battery. For diagnostic work in a dry environment, this item may be useful but if you want it to be mounted to equipment you're using in the field, perhaps you should invest a little more and get a better.
There has been something wrong with me for several months now. Considering the price, I found it to contain all the features I was looking for. I have tried setting it to mode 2, but it will not hold any new settings. There is a setting 2 that I need. Ignoring the request and working in mode one, it will never accept the request.
