I installed one of these on my brand new machine. So far, I have been able to use it as an hour meter and as a tachometer without having to change the controls. Within 28 minutes of firing up the saw, I was satisfied with the performance. I ran a tank through the saw and watched the time rise into the high fifties. We are at 34 minutes now. The function didn't just miss the runtime, it saw it and dropped it as well!.
