Selected User Reviews For Robinair (11920) Digital Gauge - High Pressure
Initially, the product seemed to work as advertised, but the transducer stopped picking up the pressure after 6 months. In my communication with Robinair, they recommended I do an overflight Here's the thing From the seller, a counter-exchange is requested. The seller did not help me in any way when I contacted them. In this case, the seller does not honor the manufacturer's warranty, so I will never purchase from this seller again for this reason. I needn't add more information about the product, because it lasted for six months.
Once the gauges start failing and coming apart at the base, they are wonderful for about a week. I have spoken to Robinair about this and so far there has been no resolution. If you are using them on a stationary piece of equipment they are probably okay, but I don't recommend using them on mobile devices. In the field, this item is not suitable for daily use.
fits my Imperial Eastman 4 valve manifold easily. This gauge has a PVC case and rubber cover. Both the casing and rubber cover are durable and should take a beating. It's good to have an extra pair. My units for pressure and temperature are kPa and deg C respectively. This is an easy setting on the initial setup, and is only required if the displayed pressure and temperature are to be displayed. With the touch of a button, it is easy to change the refrigerant. Looking directly at the gauge, the LCD display is large, clear, and easy to read. However, when looking on an angle and even with the backlight on, it gets difficult to read. It is a slight issue, but not a major one. During the setting of the control cut-off Then cut a piece of the pie When viewing pressures, there is a slight delay in displaying the change of pressure. This application is not suitable for this. These gauges are very helpful for general use since one does not need to dig out a PT chart to get an accurate SST or SCT reading. In studying zeotric blends, such as R407c, I am not sure how accurate the PT conversion will be, and whether the Bubble point and Dew point charts are utilized. My gauges are very happy, and I would recommend them, but I can't tell how robust they are until I see them in action.
I made the transition from analog to digital in the following way. Message body *br*.
Due to the poor reviews, I was a little apprehensive about purchasing this product, but it has performed well so far.
It's accurate, I love it, and I'd buy it.
The first few days have gone well.
